While intended as handles for files, I am fitting these to a vintage drawknife. It is slow going but I think the results will be very good. As handles for files, the holes in the handles will probably need to be drilled a little deeper then the file tang should be set in the handle with epoxy.

These handles have nicely turned handles with smooth finish on them. Unfortunately the hole is too big for file tangs. I may find another use for them. Weird oversight on the part of the manufacturer but perhaps these were made for another purpose and re-marketed as file handles.

These didn't fit all of the files I wanted to use them for, but a little JB Weld convinced them that they belonged to the chosen file. No problems, and they have a nice finish. Good value for the product.

Works great for what I intended it for!Not sure how well these would work for holding files, but with a little modification, works great on my wood furnace door!

The bore on these is 7/16th, they are for huge files. Nothing short of your 12" files will fit these well. There wasn't any thing in the description that indicated the size of the bore in these handles.

These come drilled out beyond the limits of fitment. Can't use them.
