This is a bit odd. It covers my dog except for his head - which is kinda the point of a raincoat, yes? There is a "space" for his leash to come through the top of the coat, which looks like a good idea, but it's too small. The strap was way too big for him - not a huge issue for me - I shortened it, but still... Finally, the coat is meant to stay on with elastic bands for his legs. I use them and they do work but they don't look like they are comfortable for him, so I'm still figuring that out. I feel like it was too much re-engineering on my part to make this a viable product. Keep working on it, guys.

Very nice weighted rain coat. My dog is 56 pounds and I ordered the XL -it was a little too big so I returned and exchanged for large.

We have a 55lb McNab and a 50lb Malinois and in XL these fit them great covering all the way to the tail but the chest strap is a bit long. Fortunately the leg straps keep them in place well enough that the loose strap fit isn’t a problem. Would give 5 stars if the chest strap fit more snugly.The “hood” barely covers their ears and is really just a neck covering, but it keeps them dry from the back of the head down.I paired it with this harness -https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09PTPC4MB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1The leash loop on the harness lines up with the hole in the raincoat nicely, making leashing them up and releasing them simple and easy.

I went ahead and sized up for my puppy in case of a crazy growth spurt and I’m glad I did! It’s really cute, very thick and great quality. It slips right over the pups head so super easy to use. I also feel like with other raincoats for your pup the leash hole does not size up and if it does it uncovers a lot of the body but the leash hole is perfectly placed and covers their whole body!

This is an updated review (original review below). Still works OK, but I still wonder why they didn't add a second velcro strap closer to the bag lets. It's usable for us, and saves time drying him after a rainy walk. But if you are shopping, a 2nd strap would help a lot.Just got it so only out-of-the-box comments so far. The product arrived quickly and I'm glad I ordered XXL for our large, 84-pound golden retriever, because it was a snug fit over his head. The raincoat covers his head and body well, but it has only one under-the-waist strap. It starts to slide off his rear end, so It needs a second fastener or strap further back. I'll try to add a second velcro strap. It's lined so it's not too flimsy, but I'd be wary of putting it in a washing machine. One last thing -- how do they get their dogs (in the ads) to look happy? Mine looks puzzled and sad, but I guess ... hope ... he gets used to it!

I bought the XL for my dog it was way too big, she's 65 pounds and the size of a German Shepard it slides around better to have velcro at the bottom to keep it in place

I baught this product for my Samoyeds as normal rain coats just don't work with their fluffy coats. The size XL is perfect for a normal to Large Samoyed Male and I love how the coats flop out to the side a little so all the rain drops off and keeps their bodies and their legs dry. (from the falling rain anyway) The material is super thick and durable and the whole jacket is very high quality feeling. They aren't made to keep them warm and I don't want them to add any warmed for the dogs so they are perfect for keeping wet but not warm. Love the back leg straps to keep the jackets centred. The hoods are cute but don't really work over the dogs heads, but are great for keeping their necks dry. Love the reflective bands so you can see them if it's early morning or dusk/night. Over all, an amazing product and I couldn't be happier. Absolutely worth the money and they are a great investment. Very happy!!!

Jacket is a Perfect fit. Arrived very quickly, well packaged, and in perfect condition. Received my BFF's JYHY Dog Raincoat just in time for a heavy rain. It kept all of her dry except for her head and her paws. Unlike her previous jacket, which was the poncho type with no sleeves, this jacket remained in place and I didn't have to spend the majority of our walk tugging on one side of the jacket to straighten it up to have equal amounts on both sides of her body. This jacket seems to be made of good quality and should last for many years. My only kvetch is that I would like the material to be a bit more breathable since it is made for our friends of the furry kind, and they do get hot easily. However, the material does keep her dry, so bravo for it doing it's job!
