I know it can be hard to find quality bits and tools these days but this one is great for home projects. I was putting in a new stone countertop and had to punch a couple holes through for the faucet and sprayer. I had no problem getting through a inch of stone. I saw very little chipping and the bit went through at a good rate. The tool works great and I would say it could be used in a limited residential construction setting but not daily. I did construction for many years after I got out the military. This bit is better than average without paying ludicrous big box prices. Under 40 dollars is great, I have similar ones that are twice that expensive easily.

Great for drilling through granite to install a soap dispenser or making a hole for electrical wires or pumping. Extremely sturdy. Make sure you use a lot of water to cool down the bit to help extend the life.A+ High Quality.
