I have only used once just so I can try it out. It worked well and seems like there was no damage after making 1 hole. Unfortunately I made the mistake and order the wrong size so I am unable to comment on multiple use durability. However, this will go in my tool box for when I need it.

It took me forever to get my husband to test this set, he is what didn’t “work as it should”! But finally he took a scrap of a 1.5 inch thick polished quartz countertop. I could hear him in the basement for about 25 minutes running the most powerful drill we own, a heavy old 3/4 horse power plug-in drill with a 3/8 opening for the 3/8th hex bit on the diamond cutter. He said it took about the amount of time he thought it would with that drill, he doesn’t cut through quartz too often. He thought it would heat up where the drill bit hit the rock but neither the quartz or the bit got hot, but maybe that was because he didn’t use a very fast drill (his was probably 200 - 300 RPMs).So basically the length of time to drill an inch and a half through the quartz had more to do with the speed of the drill and not the quality of the diamond hole cutter. He said he definitely couldn’t have cut through that quartz with one of our cordless drills.I wanted him to try cutting through metal but he insisted on this slab, so I assume that if it could cut quartz, metal would be a piece of cake. He said the bit didn’t look any worse for wear and he could still see the small black diamond bits in the metal. He didn’t use water during the process because this is a plug-in drill. But he did stop and get it wet halfway through and that didn’t seem to make any difference.

Very well made and come in a reuseable plastic box with foam insert. I mainly use for crafts I'm making out of glass. The cutting surfaces are well covered in the diamond abrasive so makes it safer and easier to cut the glass. We always run water on the surface when cutting to keep the bit cooler and last longer. I only got the small set but will be purchasing more in different sizes in the future.

This is a good quality set of diamond core drill bits. It comes in a reusable plastic case. These bits securely screw onto the 1/4 inch shank that is included. So far the bits have held up well for me and look like they will hold up for a long time.

This diamond core drill bit kit is made well in quality to me.They fit our drill working nicely. It's easy to use and simple to set up.We are going to test them out for porcelain and tile ceramic projects next.We don't have any work on marble nor granite yet.We may come back to add more comments and more stars later on.
