This is a smooth, heavy duty clamp! I use it to hold down 2x12 boards for safe two hand operation of a circular saw! The hoards are locked in place and the cut is clean!

Prefer the Irwin version. The plastic clamp pads mark surfaces which is annoying.

Built 2 gates to close off the property for the dogs. The clamp made using my kreg jig easy to stabilize. I was able to match the porch railing!

What can I say... Dewalt put their name on. My buddies has some of these "fancy 600 lb clamp BS" but mine work harder, have more consistent pressure on and offset the surface AND my joint

Well-made adjustable clamp that is easy to use and provides strong clamping force. I have the 6", 12" and 24" size "Large" DeWalt clamps in my shop. The Large clamps are more rigid and provide much higher clamping forces (300 lb) than the "Medium" clamps (which I find suitable only for light work). The Large clamps can clamp a big load, but are not as heavy as the Extra Large clamps that provide up to 600 lb clamping force (which is more than I need).

Can't take extreme pressure. The metal button that affixes the jaw that doesn't have the trigger will break. Good for simple use.
