Twice I did same mistake already purchasing wrong size. This is just 3/4" spade. NOT 1". But it works really very well

Crazy how much better this is than the el cheapo spade bits i have. Used it to drill several hundred 3/4 holes for custom railing spindles.

I used this item to run 20 leads of CAT6A in a new house. I was concerned the drill might break and leave me stuck with my project, but it worked like a champ and looks like it could finish another few houses. Considering the price, this is a fantastic buy. If you are a professional, obviously you should get a more expensive bit that will last, but for everyone else, this drill bit is amazing.

for those who are not sure about going with this one and other screw tipped bits like in bosch products, I strongly advise this one as long as you are not using a hand drill. screw tips are too aggressive for electric drills and practically parts weak and small woods into pieces instantly and requires too much power for a battery powered drill

Worked perfectly. Sharp and made quick work of the wood I was cutting through. I was going back and forth between this and a forstner bit of the same size, and this did the exact same job at half the price.

Great bit! I drilled about 20 dog holes in hard maple for my new workbench before it started to dull. The price is SO reasonable I'll order another along with the whole set! I bought this bit as a backup to the Irwin Speedbore bits. Man am I glad I did. The Irwins gave me nothing but trouble. If you need to drill bench dogs in your workbench this is the way to go!
