My first DaTerra purchase was the large roasting pan, which I quickly named my "magic" roasting pan because absolutely everything I bake/roast in it turns out fabulous! Roasted veggies caramelize wonderfully, my turkey roasts to perfection, etc. But sometimes I need a smaller version so I bought these. I like that you can use each half separately, too! It works just as well as my big roaster - so my next purchase was one of their smaller skillets. I am sold on DaTerra products, they work wonderfully and clean up with ease! A little on the spendy side but you get what you pay for!

These are perfect pans for baking a rectangular double layered cake for a family gathering. I used the pans in a regular sized oven. Since it was a darker pan it took less time to cook the perfect cakes. The small size allowed me to put both pans on the same rack in the oven so they could cook evenly. Once cooked, the cakes were easy to get out of the pan and cleanup was a snap due to the natural Nonstick ceramic coating. This is a perfect addition to my collection of DaTerra Dutch Oven, sauce pan, and frying pan.The dual pans will be perfect to use for my next cooking challenge, pot roast.

If you're not into lugging a huge cast iron enameled pot, this small rectangular roaster is light, stores easily and holds heat well. Perfect for casseroles and braises. Pictured here is a braised corned beef brisket. 2 lbs cured with 2 tbs salt, 2 tbs raw sugar, 1/8 tsp instacure #1 and spices like coriander, bay leaves, pepper, thyme. Cured 3 weeks in the fridge then braised 3 hrs with aromatic vegs and water half way up. I could have even done this in the toaster oven!

I love my cookie sheets and large roasting pan, but we don’t always need to make a meal big enough to fit the roaster. Using one of the smaller roasting pans, I was able to stack a layered enchilada casserole much higher. Like always, the food slides out easily and is cooked perfectly. The next day, I covered the dish with its interlocking twin and reheated the enchiladas easily. All warmed through evenly without adding extra browning. I can envision using both in the oven for separate dishes and for making cakes. These will be used constantly in our household!!

We just received the Da Terra “IL DUE” double roaster set after ordering it on Amazon. It came quickly and in good shape.
First off, upon unboxing, the pans look great and the ceramic surface is stellar.
That said, we already own a couple of other Da Terrra pans so we were familiar with quality of the non stick ceramic coating. No surprises there. The real question was whether or not this smaller roasting pan would make sense in our lives?I am pleased to say that it has already made its way into our cooking rotation twice in two days. Once as closed set for roasting broccoli and once as a an open pan for making a nice frittata. The pans have small dimples on the top that allow them to fit together easily. I included a little chicken stock and olive oil on the bottom of the pan when roasting the broccoli and came away with the perfect light steam and roast that I was looking for.Second time, my wife made the frittata which came out perfectly and slid from the pan without effort.Due to its convenient size, I can actually see it becoming a regular fixture in our kitchen. Not heavy or cumbersome, easy to use, lift and clean. It is just the right size to use for side dishes for a larger meal or perfect for a main dish for two people.
Super happy with our new roasting pans and would highly recommend them.

The first thing I noticed about this pan set is how solid and sturdy the pieces feel. In addition, it's cool how the bumps of the two pans can fit together to work as a unit or can be used separately (so it's versatile!). I love the smaller size of the these for my household. I can fit the duo side-by-side in my oven with airflow between them to cook up a roast and veggies on the same oven rack. (I'll note that for me a single pan is just a bit too big to fit in my toaster oven.) I already own some of DaTerra's other cookware (skillet, saucepan, dutch oven, lasagna pan) so I was familiar with the excellent ceramic surface. Just as I expected, the roaster pans clean up easily. So pleased with this product!!

The porcelain coated pan is a medium size baking pan -- no where near as large as the turkey roasting pan we've had for years and years, but large enough for most dinners for the two of us. Many times over the last five years or so, we've struggled to find a pan big enough to cook a chicken or a small ham in -- now we've found it! We will still be looking for a larger roaster for that medium sized turkey (say 15 lbs) versus the large turkey we used to get when the kids and their friends were around (usually 20 to 22 lbs). The fact that the aluminum base of the pan is black means it will absorb the heat more evenly. I like how the dimples in the edges of the two halve mesh to make the lid more stable. I only wish the two halves nested so we could store it in half the space it will take the way it is. If it were nesting, we'd give it a full five stars; without being able to nest it, we knocked off a star -- still a very good, solid product at 4-stars!

I like that you can use this pan as one unit with a lid, or separate baking dishes. Make sure you grease or oil the pan before you bake in it, or it will be difficult to clean. It bakes evenly, with a nice heat distribution. Just be careful if you latch them together, that you don't get a steam burn as you pull it out of the oven. And don't put it in the dishwasher!
