You get what you pay for. This backrest doesn’t even fit properly. The hooks that clamp to the docking hardware are too close together and you have to pull it apart to get it to snap into place. Don’t recommend

It’s actually very strong. Works well bang for the buck ! For the people that return it or say it don’t fit that’s because your trying to mount it on the luggage rack studs instead of the back rest studs . Dummies !!!!

This was easy to put together just awkward with the angles. I had trouble getting it to latch. Basically had to lean my whole body into it to get it to go down enough.

Good product had some alignment issues, Easy to fix just had to bent the frame in a little to get it to fit. Over all good product

This is definitely a knockoff product, and the manufacturing problems show. The plate that keeps the backrest attached does not properly fit the backrest frame. The first time latching it onto the bike required a rubber mallet, but it has smoothed out now. Haven't had it long but the chrome seems decent, came very shiny.Overall I am keeping the item, because it works well enough for the price.
