First, let me say, my husband is a handy man and can fix almost anything. He is not an electrician, but wired our whole house! That being said, he could not get this thing to work! AND.... by the time we figured that this was indeed a lost cause, it was too late to return it. So, now we are stuck with this plus three copper ground stakes, and several other things that go with this. If anyone wants this, we will sell it CHEAP!

So far working to keep our dogs from digging under the fence, which had been an ongoing problem. Gives enough jolt to get their attention without really hurting them.

Works great for keeping ground critters off my bird feeder. Not a hefty jolt but an annoying poke in one second intervals.

i used this to protect my screen door from my Beagle, it works so great! highly recommended, did the job, I'm not too sure how it works for anything bigger than a door
