The part numbers matched, physically, The Stems matched. Two shipments, from the same Amazon Vendor, leaked a 3/32d" stream in the 'Off' position.

So had a difficult time tracking down this part, didn't save box from faucet when I bought it & cannot find any numbers or info on the faucet or the cartridge. I vaguely recall buying it about 20 years ago at Home Depot, & others have commented on some Glacier Bay brand, which is not as common as other brands. So it was a difficult search & even on Amazon. Its a good faucet & am very happy with its build & performance, so after 20 years its acceptable that the cartridge needs replacing due to wear. So the short story is: if you have the faucet in the picture, THIS IS IT! The replacement cartridge you need is also pictured. These are quarter turn with stops at 1/4, so exact fit, and therefore you need the appropriate cartridge for hot & cold. Also note, the plastic hex nut to apply to the faucet handle is not included with the cartridge but is reused from the handle. Also don't confuse the spline top as it will not fit, you require the 1/3 cut brass top. Recommend when replacing, soak & scrub all faucet parts with CLR to remove minerals & apply some plumber's lube to base & O-ring. If you cannot find what you need here, Lowe's carries these cartridges & you should pay no more than $10 apiece. So thankful to have found what I need & be able to complete this repair once & for all. If you're not sure what you are doing, watch some repair videos & have the basic tools necessary.

I ordered this part to replace the cold water cartridge on my bathroom faucet Pegasus 418-738L. It started leaking after 11 years, not too bad. The part fits, but needed some adjustment of metal housing, just like mentioned at the other review. No dripping now and for the price paid, I can't really complain. Note that Pegasus is now Glacier Bay, so it fits both. Thanks Amazon for a lightning delivery!
