Les anches rico sont un valeur sûre. Habituellement, j'utilise des anches force 3 avec un bec ouvert ; concernant la force 2 le coupe anche est très utile...

They are easy to play, durable, still on my first one. I tried these because tenor player Greg Ham's Rico Royal Tenor reeds are in the Maas Museum collection.

These reeds are great for anyone looking to buy strength 3.0 reeds! Once you get them slightly used, they make beautiful sound and aren’t awkward to use. I’d recommend them to people who have somewhat experience in saxophone and want cleaner, crisper notes, not beginners. Pretty good value for amazing reeds!

These are MY reed of choice. Even before the fact that these are the best priced reeds on the market. But, before I came to that conclusion, that these reeds are the best for me. First, I got a good reed file. I think it was $30, I dunno, it was a gift. But to make for an excellent reed, there can be NO air leakage between the reed and the mouthpiece. And even though, these reed say they are, filed. It is not good enough. That work was done on some assembly line somewhere. It is NOT acceptable, to me.

After a 20 year hiatus, I recently started playing my Tenor Sax again. The decades old 3.0 reeds in my instrument case seemed very stiff and unresponsive. Maybe it's their age, or the fact that I am starting over, so I decided to go back to 2.0 reeds I used as a student. I have always used Rico Reeds, as they were recommended by the man I purchased my first sax from at age 13. It was an Alto, and the man was a retiring professional jazz saxophonist of 40 years. I figured it was the best advice I could possibly get, so I bought Rico's. I have tried others, but always went back to Rico. The 2.0 's are working very well for me, I am extremely pleased with them!! And, of course, you can't beat Amazon's price and service!
