As a brass player who mostly plays woodwinds in my home studio, I'm very happy with these reeds. They fit well in the couple of mouthpieces I own, have an amazingly rich tone, and they feel "natural" but a bit stiff. A more experienced player will coax more nuanced qualities out of them and really take advantage of the timbre and flexibility they offer, but for someone like me, they are a decent choice. D'Addario makes quality reeds, and these are a wonderful example of that.

I love these reeds. They are very smooth and I've not a had a problem with them so far. They come wrapped separately. I keep in a case and take off my clarinet each time I play.

For years, I played it safe with my clarinet reeds – the same brand, the same strength. They worked, but...well, there was a nagging feeling I could be doing better. I passed this off to a music teacher that I know that uses woodwinds and there was no complaints about the reed. I actually initially got it for a gift so it says thank you for reading me except it's supposed to be spelled reeding. This is great for beginners and for those who have been playing for a while.
