Since D'Addario introduced Phosphor Bronze acoustic guitar strings in 1974, they've been synonymous with warm, well-balanced tone. Best strings ever. Stay in tune, don't break, sound awesome. Also really like the color coded ball ends which ease string changes a little.

Been going back and forth between D’Addario and Stringjoy strings, and trying to keep my expectations reasonable.Like all (or most) strings, the D’Addarios are great when first installed on the instrument, but they don’t seem (I haven’t done scientific research on this) to sound great as long as the Stringjoys, and seem to go “flat” sooner.That said, price is also a part of the process for string-changing, too, and the Stringjoys can be a bit more expensive.I realize this review seems to waffle a bit, but after 60-some years of guitar-playing, that seems to be the way of the world.

Best, but moderately inexpensive acoustic string I’ve found. I like new strings, and these are what I use to hold down costs of having too many guitars, liking new strings, and sound. If
