These guitar strings are NOT an accordion accessory (see product description). Intended for Savarez and similar gypsy jazz guitars, I placed them on my Taylor acoustic to achieve a bright, piercing sound. Strings are easy to bend for tremolo/vibrato effects.

Where have these strings been all my life?! They are amazing on my acoustic guitars. They don't beat up your fingers like other stiff factory acoustic guitar strings. You will lose a little of that bright shine you get from most new strings for acoustic guitars, but you gain so much PLAYABILITY. The tone is great, they feel great and they last.

Best strings for gypsy jazz. The higher price is worth it.

My absolute favorite string on my DG300 John Jorgenson model. Great response and volume, supple feel, stable (don't go out of tune once stretched in of a day or so) and last longer than other brands (at least for me). They do need to be wiped own with a soft, dry cloth after every session or they will corrode quickly (so will almost every other brand). Argentines may be a little more expensive than other GJ strings but are the best.

The strings are modeled after classical strings. They play like steel strings, have an amazing sound but feel better on your fingers and are the best kind of flexible with sustain. PERFECT if you've ever said "playing guitar makes my fingers hurt." Get them and you'll not go back.

I love these strings. Put them on a Seagull S-6 and it really came to life! These are so easy to hold down and bend! I don't know about their life as your mileage will vary BUT these are my new best strings!! Highly recommended. If you have or you are a beginner - try these strings, you may find they provide relief from beating up your fingers. If you are still having a difficult time holding down the strings, take the guitar to a music store or find a good guitar luthier and have him/her do a setup on the guitar. Usually $40 - $50 and extremely well worth the price. These two things will make your or your students experience with a guitar so much more positive and motivating. Don't cheap out! Go get this done!
