I always buy Rico reeds because I can guarantee firm reeds with no splits and long lasting. My soprano sax gives out beautiful clear notes.

I mistakenly purchased reeds for a soprano sax, but my son plays alto. That was my fault for not looking closely at the description. Amazon made the return process very simple and I was able to order the right ones, paying with the return credit, as soon as I shipped the incorrect ones back.We typically buy Rico reeds locally, but the music store was out with school starting back. This brand is what my son has used for the last 3 years, as recommended by his band instructor, and they are always reliable. Highly recommend.

These are good reeds. If you play the saxophone, they will come in hand but they're not good for a lot of other uses.

Use these reeds for my soprano sax, they fit just fine, the sax I bought had a lot of leaks so I had to return them both. Nonetheless good buy for beginners, and easy to use

I've tried more expensive reeds, but these are great (strength 2.5). I am getting very nice classical tone quality with my Yamaha soprano sax.

I purchased a yamaha venova and this reed made it so much easier to play. All three reeds were in great shape and fit just right. Very solid as well. I've been practicing quite a bit and they are still in great condition. Will buy a box next.

Used these for a few days and then ordered other reeds. after some research, turns out these basic rico reeds don't have very good reputation but the other reed series from rico are good
