The product didn't work till it was modified put air to the gauges would come up but no air would go into the cylinder do to the tool having a check valve going the wrong way so the bleed down gauge showed the same preasure the regulated gsuge does I took it apart removed check valve and it works as it should

I ordered one of these to perform a leak down test on my 2000 Yamaha WR400F. The kit resembles some of the higher end options on the market, however the quality is not there. The air coupling was a little too large for my air line, but I found one to make it work. I am well versed on the different options for air couplings, therefore I know it was something to do with the kit. Secondly, the air line that connects to the cylinder plug port leaked are at the compressed fitting when whenever I moved or changed the orientation of the hose. For the price, it is not a bad unit if you can get past the lack of quality control, but I would not purchase again. The seller/Amazon allowed me to return it for a full refund.

Instructions state calibrating set pressure typically occurs around 15-20 psi. This gauge "set" near 100 psi. So out came my long breaker bar. My last worn out gauge would set at 15. Product works well, but I'll buy another gauge just to compare. Accuracy rules when you're making a decision to open an engine.

Used once and the leak down guage is stuck at 60% and won't go any further and when I add anything over 30 psi it pegs the guage past the ending all the way to the other side of 100%. So can't get any readings and it leaks at the guage and fittings. Horrible amd cheap. Save your money!

Works as it should. It diagnosed a burnt valve in minutes. Easy to use and it works every bit as good as the expensive stuff. Great for the novice mechanic.

A 'must-have' for any poor compression issues; or suspected overheating issues due to possible head gasket failures or engine/head cracks. Tells precisely if leakage is exhaust, coolant, crankcase, or intake related. An affordable price for valuable diagnostic evaluations. Has been used several times with no problems whatsoever.
