This product is described as 36" in length. It is actually 35 3/8 inches, which will not fit a 36 inch doorway. Returns are not easy like most Amazon returns. They must go back to the seller, not Amazon, so the refund takes much longer to receive. DO NOT BUY!!!

The space between my kids room the carpet and tile was not nice to look at and the carpet was coming up so I ordered this and fit to cut and it’s perfect no more ugly shredded carpet! And it came faster than expected!

Gives a finished look to a very small space between wood floor and steps going down into another room. Just right height, low profile does not cause a problem like tripping. Match color to the wood floor. Gives a finished look to where the steps and wood hallway come together. House was built in the 1930's. Can be trimmed with sharp scissors.

I did receive this item and the end was broke. I had to cut it down so it all worked out. It matches beautifully and is made well.
