Had a couple toenails removed. They really hurt when they dried out. This was the best to keep it moist. It was a life saver. Works 10 times better then other antibiotic ointments.

I had a 3 inch by 1 1/4 inch elliptical incision to remove a basal cell carcinoma that took 8 stitches on the inside and 8 on the outside to close. The appointment to remove the stitches was set for 14 days but at about 8 days I began developing small infections around about 6 of the outside stitches that grew in size despite taking care of the wound per the instrutions provided.I called the Dermatologist on the 10th day and they wanted to see me right away. Upon viewing the incision they said it was healed enough to remove the stitches that day and that my body was developing the infections because it was treating the stitches as a foreign object. I informed them about this product and although they were not familiar with it, they said to go ahead and use it versus plain vaseline which was used to simply cover the area for the 1st ten days because it should help speed up the healing process around where the stitches were now removed.Over the next two days I noticed a significant reduction of the infections and by the 3rd day they were all dried up. After reading all the potential benefits of this product I also began using it around the outside of one ear that has been driving me crazy itching and nothing I was trying was helping. After just the 2nd application, the itching subsided and is now mostly gone.My first tube of this product was purchased at a local drug chain store and the price as almost 50% more. I found it available thru Amazon and the two tube option being even less in price I decided to get it to keep on hand for both my Wife and I but also when our two active Granddaughters visit for those scrapes and scuffs that often happen.Great product! Great Price and one that has delivered results.

Absolutely fantastic . I bought this as I have had constant cracks at the side of my mouth for nearly a year now . Having had prescribed creams I read that this stuff was good and it' is . It's antibacterial and fungal so as soon as o used it my mouth healed Within a day and it's not happened again . I also used it on my daughters burn and on my doggie when she had a sore near her tail . I only put it on once and by that evening it had healed .

This seemed to work nicely in helping to heal a rather impressive set of stasis ulcers from chronic venous insufficiency. I seem to get this nearly every spring/summer -- every time the weather starts to warm up -- and sure enough, mine started again in early April, and again it affected both legs. By the end of July, I was almost ready to make an appointment at the local Wound Healing Center (yet again -- went through this with them last year), when I decided to give this a shot. I remembered that the Center had used a colloidal silver gel with the compression wraps last year, so I figured it was worth a try at home.Applied the gel, covered with sterile bandages, and left it alone for 3 days while also wearing special "ulcer care" compression stockings (days only). After 3 days, I removed the bandages, and the result was amazing: at least a 50% decrease in ulcer size/etc. Hmmm ... OK -- went 4 more "rounds" of gel + bandages for 3 days + daily ulcer care compression stockings, then change bandages, and after just over 2 weeks, the stasis ulcers were gone. Completely healed. My skin was still a tad sensitive, but no sign of the ulcers. I'm now back to wearing my "regular" compression stockings -- although doc did write a new prescription increasing the mmHg rating due to the reoccurrence of the ulcers this year. If it works, I'm happy.Nothing I had tried prior to this had worked. So I have to believe that this Silver Solution gel was at least partially responsible for the impressive improvement. I'll gladly use it again if I'm faced with another bout of ulcers in the future.

This is a good remedy for skin conditions involving bacteria. In my case, I need something I can use long term (for months, possibly). This is why I would prefer that they would leave out the obnoxious chemicals. These include carbomer, said to be safe (I have some doubts) and triethanolamine, which seems to be more of a problem. The fact it has only two such ingredients is a miracle in itself, considering the brand and source. There are natural alternatives for these, and they should use them. The product seems to work quite well. I hope Curad will reformulate this. Seriously. The bad ingredients are the reason I didn't give this product a "5".
