My doctor recommends bacitracin over other anti-biotic ointments (like the ones in yellow tubes) because, he says, it has the same healing properties without one ingredient that can be detrimental to some tender situations. This one has worked well and is a good value.

I had a horrible experience with Neosporin which caused miserable itching, swelling, and a rash. Per my doctor, it’s quite common for people to have allergic reactions to the “triple antibiotic ointment” stuff like Neosporin.I decided to never use any of this stuff again - until I was adopted by a stray cat. My doctor told me to get just Bacitracin, and it’s been a life saver since the damn cat apparently doesn’t know how to retract her claws when jumping on my lap.

Always keep bacitracin in stock for remedy.First-time use is helping me recover from an incident where a screw poked into and through my shoe into the middle of the bottom of the foot.Even though I pulled my foot away quickly the seven-layer epidermis was yanked from a pencil erased width space.Right away used the hose to power wash out the wound praying no debris got stuck.Bathtub soak in chlorinated water. Usually use a filter. In the case of injury soaking in city water in the tub minus filter, full of chlorine is a saving grace trick. Then, a no-no. But in this emergency, burn the heck outta this hole with peroxide.Normally an open wound like this doesn't use peroxide. Lots of reasons. In my case the wound is small enough I wanna prevent infection at all costs. Then, allow for new layers of skin to form quickly.Since I have a nutrition program that promotes new skin growth and repair as proven in several instances thought given the observations of the injury it's possible to speed up healing.Key, preventing infection starting.Upon cleaning, put a dab of this on a bandaid, not the wound. Bandaid with a cross-over to prevent dirt from slipping in.Then, morning and night soak the foot. Repeat with peroxide soak. Scrape any scab out of the wound if one forms to keep the infection from forming.By day three marked difference. The dab on the bandaid at each cleaning makes a huge difference helping form new skin layers quickly. It's been less than a week. The wound has shrunk in size by 2/3’s. Continue routine. Rinse and Repeat.Pressing on the area above the bandaid checking for pain is helpful to note if infection or healing is present. The pain lessens as healthy healing repair is occurring.I wouldn't recommend this to everyone. Over the years perfecting this method has worked for me.Like, I had a major accidental burn from a motorcycle tale pipe, and this strategy minus peroxide and doing a different complicated water soak strategy... This product with a bandaid strategy and observing pain or lack thereof during healing while taking tracking photos of them would-be managed to fully heal a 2 inch by 3-inch wide several burns that bubbled oozed and leaked immediately following the event.Knowing how to minimize or eliminate pain includes this product on a bandaid to keep things moist as I manage wound care a certain way.Less than two weeks full recovery. Two months later and the application of a special soap to reduce the darkened scar skin and it's barely noticeable now.As mentioned the combination of my nutrition program and wound care is key. This said I don't recommend if you have a major burn or pin the wound using this. Each one is different.Between military training, being a tomboy as a kid and having a healthy adventurous side that lends to wounds over the years, and paying attention to doctors and nurses developed my healing style.I'll admit to having a faith lifestyle that contributes to the speedy curing of certain wounds and ailments in above-average ways than how things previously were managed by doctors.Everything begins with a high-quality nutrient regime. Second low stress. Preventing infection. Removing infection asap if it begins. This works for me.This product has an easy-to-read discard date. Are a large tube and the medicine is a thick cream like vaseline that's easy to work with.I'm very happy with my purchase⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💯
