Quick and easy to install! The quality is great and the technology is super helpful – it keeps me informed and gives me all the data I need to keep my pool in perfect shape. The product was easy to get started and connected, initially I was apprehensive about the accuracy of the meter, I was seeing the pH drop on a digital meter, faster than the device was reporting. Once I was able to get to a desired pH, the system followed. I do continue to trust, but verify the system and so far as the pH portion goes, it has been very accurate.In regards to the ORP, I am constantly reminded to add more chlorine, despite having 5 ppm on a test strip. I understand the ORP is not the free chlorine, but the overall oxidizing capacity within the water. I will continue to trust, but verify this measure.

These people made Phin and I loved having Phin. It tells you exactly what to put in and when to put it in. Tells you the temperature as well. It's a better device than Phin was and works so well. My water is always crystal clear and you never have to chase PH or any other chemical

Hubby purchased the crystal water reader back in December for Christmas! It is now End Of June! The reader has worked Flawlessly before a recent hiccup with the sensor not reading properly. JESSE (With The Crystal Customer Support) preemptively contacted me to address his concern w/ the error readings. He Quickly Sent me out a replacement sensor overnight 😮 & Is Waiting for it to arrive to assist in getting us back up & running!! I mean WOW!!! What An Awesome Show Of Customer Support! I don't know about anyone else, But for Me,,, His support Is More Than Words Can Express. I can say, I've never had any company show that level of support! I'm an Airbnb Superhost & the crystal water reader is in one of my BnBs so it's super important that the spa water is safe for my guests & Thanks To JESSE 🤩 It Is!!!!! 🙌 I will Honestly say, The Price did give us pause @ first, As this economy is bearing down on us BUT, Anyone dealing w/ water knows the cost of the chemicals & risks of them being off. I have had the Crystal water monitor for a few months now and I am very pleased with this product. I use it in my hot tub, and it has made the water maintenance super easy. Installation was very straightforward and the directions were excellent- I mounted it on the side of my hot tub and the monitor sits in the water. Connection between the device and the app was seamless. I love getting reminders when my chemical levels are off, and the app makes it easy to order supplies directly from the app if you so choose. I wish the app had support for more brands of test strips, the ones I have been using were not included in the App, so I bought some new ones to make it easier to upload my water reports. All in all, this is a time saving product and helps keep my hot tub in great shape, I would definitely recommend this for all you pool and hot tub enthusiasts out there!

I don’t have a phd in chemistry, but a recent pool renovation makes me feel like I need one. So I looked at various tools that can help me, and I stocked up on test strips, chemical test kits, and this water analysis tool.It’s a real struggle to balance everything with just some of the details, like ph but not alkalinity. To counter that they include some test strips, and in theory I can take a photo of the strip within the app and it includes the details in its analysis. Well with our latest and greatest iphone14 pro max the app can’t seem to focus on the test strip (not a problem AT ALL just using the camera, so it’s an app problem) and this feature simply fails to work.Next failure is in what it’s telling me to do: right now I’m trying to figure out my water hardness and this app is telling me that my level is low, and the remedy it suggests is to LOWER the total hardness. And I can acknowledge that recommendation with either “complete” or “snooze”. Not very helpful.This last nit to pick is one that I knew before buying: it’s impossible to put this unit out of the way where it’s not a tripping hazard. It needs to be permanently mounted within a foot or two of the pool with the cable to the probe running from it into the pool. Attaching it to the ladder sort of hides it but there it will interfere with using the ladder, get wet, and likely hit and knocked around. I mounted mine to my skimmer lid so I have to put an orange cone over it when I anticipate foot traffic around the pool (and the cone greatly reduces the wifi connectivity making it useless until the cone is removed).So it’s a tripping hazard that adds no value and costs a lot of money. It’s not saving me any trips to the pool store for water analysis, or saving me any time for doing my own analysis. It really is useless.P.S. perhaps I’m being a bit harsh: it remotely tells me the water temp, so it replaced the floating thermometer that costs less than 10% of the cost of this
