I purchased this card holder for my bus/transit card which is a contactless smart card. The card fits perfectly inside the holder. I have to tap on and off of the bus and train with the card to get to my destinations. Unfortunately the quality black strap became ripped away from the card in its case. I fortunately did not lose my card and case as I heard it drop to the ground. I feel that this product would be perfect if the top of the plastic case was pre-punched and reinforced at the top around the hole for the strap's metal clip. Thank you.

Haven’t tried it yet. Looks good. Was hoping for a solid plastic insert. But I like the option of extending the card to swipe.

I bought three of these Keylion lanyards with retractable cords in May 2021. Would I buy again? Yes.They last about six months before the fabric covering the "fishline" cord frays. That does not make it unusable or unsecure, but it stops retracting easily. I put an access card on this and use it roughly 10-50 times each work day, so I don't expect it to last forever. The product security would be improved if they replaced the triangular wire that holds the badge retainer to the retractor, with a small split key ring. That's what I started doing, because the wire would eventually bend open and the badge retainer would fall off. THAT is a huge problem. I would use a pliers to close it up again, but never really trusted it after the first time.Another improvement would be an engineered breakaway lanyard to reduce the chance of strangulation. It would be acceptable to me if this were a single-use breakaway. I've had lanyards in the past with friction fit plastic breakaways that eventually would not hold any more, and there's not always a good indication of when that's going to happen.

I bought these for my family of 3 on our first cruise. I thought the retractable cord would make it super easy to use our card for purchases, but didn't realize that the cards needed to be swiped to get into the room as well as for purchases, so we had to take the cards out of the zipped plastic every time we needed to use them. We didn't really need the waterproof feature since the plastic cards were waterproof and we didn't end up keeping money or anything else in the pouches. For a carnival cruise, you're better off getting a lanyard that clips directly to the small hole they punch in the corner of the key cards so that you don't have to remove it from the lanyard in order to swipe it.
