Bought to use with a NuCanoe F12 and really like it. Made a world of difference over smaller paddle I was originally using. It’s very good at retrieving lures and hooks hung in bushes as well

9' Longest length I could find. I use it for a fishing kayak that is wide and has adjustable height seat (Bonafide). Carbon shaft fits snug and no slop. Optional colors would be nice as this does not match my kayak colors. I'll keep you posted if anything goes wrong.updated 9/27 - still no slop after rowing a few miles and I also use it for getting in and out of kayak. For me and my fishing kayak it enters the water at the best angle because of the 9' length. The blade angle can also be adjusted, of course. The say it floats but oddly enough I've not tried it yet. Wide fishing kayaks are pigs to paddle but longer paddles help a lot. Yes, this weighs more than my last one but you'll get a smoother and longer stroke that might compensate. If you have a fishing kayak, or thinking of getting one, I don't see how you can go wrong with this. I suppose you could paint the blades with the right type of paint.

I needed a paddle this long for my BeaverTail Stealth 1200 boat. It's 44" wide, the seating is high and I'm 6'3", so the water was too far to reach with usual length paddles. The BeaverTail paddle is a 9' aluminum shaft unit and quite heavy. Even though I usually propel the boat with an electric trolling motor, there are times when in the shallows or going through weeds where it's of no use. This paddle does the job, and I don't have to do yoga to reach the water. The knurled surface is a nice feature for grip. I haven't tried the dock hook / lure retrieve notch yet, but I'm sure it'll come in handy when needed.

Full length paddle for the fishing kayak, it works very well. The shaft is strong adn flexible and the blades are tough.The crook in the blade to unhook lures works well.

Right out of the box I am very happy with what I am seeing. I needed a 9' paddle for my Beavertail Stealth, and this one is much cheaper than the one Beavertail sales. I feel like it is study, but light. I really like the color scheme and notch for hooking fishing line or grabbing decoys. I haven't used it yet, but first impression is great!

Was excited to see this box on my door step this afternoon but when I opened it, it only had 1 paddle in it.... it doesnt help that we are going out of town to go camping and kayaking in 2 days!!!! Very disappointed!!!!

Bought for a wide fishing kayak and it is very lightweight. Extra features a bonus and arrived with a free paddle leash. Hard to find a paddle that long for a decent price.

This paddle is fantastic, perfect size. Honestly I never went so fast before on my kayak. I'm sure there are better ones out there, however I will use this paddle till the day that I die. Lol. It also matches perfectly with my kayak.The measurements are little hard to read, but not a big deal. It will gets the job done.
