Ordered June 14, received July 28. A pair of 6” by 3/4” paddle bits. They are good quality and work fine. Using them to bore holes in studs for wiring. Perfect size for Romex/NM-B. The transition from pre-bit to paddle has a strong grab, so hold the drill tight when starting. Very quick boring, so it can be a bit rough, but perfect for stud wiring.

These are exactly what you'd expect. Good quality spade bits from a known brand. I've been using them to drill holes in studs for electrical wire runs in a construction project, and they have held up very well. They also work well - having the screw point is a necessity in my opinion. Overall, good quality at a good price point. You're getting exactly what is pictured, so what you see is what you get!

This bit is ideal for drilling pass through holes in studs for wiring. 3/4" dead center in the stud is the most common hole size for that purpose, and these are designed to rip through the soft wood modern studs are made of very quickly and with low wobble thanks to the screw tip.Where these do not excel is in harder woods where slower drilling is needed. Even on old growth (40+ year old) pine studs, the difference was immediately noticeable, with some bogging down and smoking. The issue is that the screw tip pulls the bit in, so the same feature that makes pass through work quick and easy can be a detriment when you want to go slow.
