these are true to size -- do not size down for thin-legged children. I assumed I would need to size down, considering my girls have lanky and thin legs, but nope... they would've been better off with the size that's labeled in the listing. Otherwise these are resilient and high quality fabric, elastic and stitching.

These are fine for what I wanted them for (kneeling on the ground for gardening, etc.) They’re not as bulky as some knee pads I’ve used, but provide plenty of protection against rocks, sticks, and thorns. That said, they seem to run small; I ordered the size recommended based on the chart, and they’re a bit tight. If you get your normal size, I wouldn't expect to be able to wear them over most clothing, especially denim. The pair I got work for me as long as I wear them under slightly baggy jeans.

I ordered these knee pads and after measuring my thighs according to the sizing chart, ordered the large. These come in a pair, and seem to be made from stretchy material. I like how the pads are sectioned so that it helps with movement and functionality.The most challenging aspect of these knee pads was the sizing. It feels like these knee pads were made for thinner leg, as, even though I followed the sizing, the top portion was way too tight. I have thicker thighs, and the lower calf portion fit fine, but the top portion is so tight, it feels like it's cutting off the circulation to my leg. It's just too uncomfortable and tight for me to use effectively. If you're on the higher measurement of the size, I might recommend you go up to the next size. Because of how tight it was, it made it difficult to really use effectively, and restricted my movements.

got for kids basketball. so far not slipping and staying in place. They hit their knees a couple times and acted like it didn't hurt.

These are good quality knee pads. They have good stocking, everything looks even. The foam has a decent blend of firm and soft. It definitely provides consistent protection, however, I would prefer something a little bit thicker.I am a dancer. I have a very low BMI, so I'm lightweight, but sometimes have to do floor work that ends up brushing my knees without knee pads.These knee pads definitely help with more minor impacts, but definitely aren't ultimate protection. Would be just fine for kneeling though.I own a very similar pair. (Left is my old knee pads, right is this product). These kind of knee pads last about 4 months of bi weekly dance practice, before eventually "flattening out" in high impact areas.I recommend these knee pads as they look professional, have good quality and stitching, and provide protection. However, I do feel the protection could be better and that the value is a little on the pricier side. Overall, 5/5 product.It smelled funky out of the package, but airs out after a while.
