Are you sick of roasting your $200 dollar turkey in a flimsy disposable foil pan? Are you ready for a show stopping, oven to table serving option for you holiday roast that will have you feeling like Ina Garden or Martha Stewart? Then this is the pan for you!This pan is high quality stainless steel with copper handles, as beautiful in person as it is in the pictures. It's really two pans in one, the "lid" can also be used as a shallow pan, and is constructed exactly like the deeper roaster. The strong, lift out rack works in either pan and easily accommodated both a 6lb chicken and 5lb duck at the same time. The rack can sit on the bottom of the roaster or be lifted slightly and set on the edge of the pan to have more room under the roast if needed. You could fit a large turkey, prime rib, or crown roast with room to spare. This large roaster does take up a lot of room, but the off-set handles help it to fit in a standard size oven. The layered bottom prevented burning of the juices and vegetables we roasted under the birds.Pros- beautiful, functional, high quality, heirloom worthyCons- heavy, large (but they are essential to its functionality)*We saved the box for packing it away when out of use. This is a wonderful, heavy duty roasting pan with NO nonstick coating (exactly what I was looking for). The photo is of a 17 pound turkey; it should easily fit a 20# which is what I typically roast at Thanksgiving. I thought a visual aid might be helpful. There is plenty of room between the top of the turkey and the lid (no more foil).

This was a very good purchase. After my wife panicked last Thanksgiving when the turkey didn't fit any of her pans and she didn't have a disposable one large enough, she was bailed out by a very kind neighbor.I went online and bought her this one as an early Christmas present as she loves to cook and takes her big family dinners very seriously. She loves the roaster and now uses it often as not just a roaster but also for all kinds of things as she can use both the lid and the bottom half separately.

This pan is absolutely gorgeous! The quality is Excellent! The off-set handles allow for a better fit in the oven. I only wish these turkey pan descriptions would state the maximum size bird that will fit. Ours was 22.7 lbs and only fit if I took out the rack. Once it was cooked, using my oven temp probe, I lifted the bird up onto the rack laying over the lid, to drain additional juices. The bottom pan was very full of juices and was nearly running over. All in all a wonderful pan. I would highly recommend it! The rose colored handles are very pretty and it cleaned up nicely.

I wanted a large, well made roaster with a lid that fit tightly to keep in the steam while my pork roast (and other roasts) cooked. This exceeded my expectations because in addition to being deep and well made, the lid doubles as an oval saucepan! Like the roaster, the lid is heavy and has great heat distribution. This pan will last a lifetime and then some. It would be a perfect gift for any friend that loves to cook. Would easily fit a 12# turkey or two large roasting hens.
