For the most part this is a fine over-monitor light. The brightness is great - the ability to change the color temperature - and the purported features all sound great.Out of the box - it feels heavy, good quality - made mostly of metal. I really love the separate control button. No more need to reach over the monitor to turn it on - having a separate knob to turn it off and on is pretty awesome.However, using this - I do have some concerns and I'm not sure if I just got a bad unit or not. You have to have an ample power source - the device would start blinking if the power source wasn't strong enough.Another concern is the arm that holds the light in place on the monitor. It's just an L shape arm - though very well made with rubber grip - it kind of just sits on top of the monitor. This is a bit precarious since I live in an area known for earthquakes and where i jostle my desk here and there - so not sure if it's the most secure way to sit on top of a monitor.I wish the button controller on the side was touch. Again - since the L shape arm just kind of sits there- when i try to "click" the button on the side of the bar - it moves around. You need both hands to make sure you click.The other issue I had was the button seemed a bit finicky - connection sometimes doesn't work. The button is about 20 inches away from the light bar - and while I can turn it off and on - the brightness, dimmer doesn't seem to work consistently (only had it work once). The other option - the RGB option on the back - I couldn't figure out how to make it work. Simply wouldn't turn on even after following the instructions (double click). And finally - this is really nit picky but the button is nice because it's all metal. The top turnable metal button has fine circular etchings on it for better grip. But already found little pieces of dust collecting quickly there. Obviously very nitpicky but just highlighting that in case you care a lot of cleanliness and dust at your desk.But as for the main function - it works well. I'm going to keep testing around and see if I can get it fully function - but I consider myself fairly tech savvy and am having trouble figuring out how to use all the features even after reading the instruction manual over and over.EDIT: I processed a replacement and the new unit didn't have the button issues - the button was responsive and functioned as expected. I was able to turn off, adjust the functions, and control the RGB lighting on the back all from the button wheel puck. Changing my review to 5 stars as a result - if this works as it should, it's an awesome lightbar.

These work perfectly with my dual monitor set up! And the light stays out of your eyes but lights up your whole desk space just nice.
