First thing I will say about this is that this cable will only work with PSP2000 or 3000. It will not work with the first generation PSP so be aware of that. The cable is not made of nylon fiber but the cable is durable so you do not have to worry about the cable fraying. It is a component cable and all the cables are colored and separated accordingly so you do not have to worry about getting plugs mixed up too easily. This is not a super long cable. If you are going to use it with your TV just be aware you will be sitting pretty close to the TV. It is good for me in that I have my PS TV right near my desk and do not have to sit very far. The video quality does not look to upscale too much. The thing I thought was annoying is that the settings for the menu is defaulted so that looks good but when you open the game it shrinks the screen significantly. I fiddled around with the settings to get it to work but it does not look that great on a big screen TV. This is not really meant to be an upscale device from what I can tell. It plugs in easily to my PSP and holds pretty well. You do have to go into settings to turn the output to the TV. Do not press the brightness button or it will default to the PSP and you have to exit the game in order to change it back to the TV. Overall I get the point of this cable but I do wish it had a bit more length. It is nice to be able to play your PSP to the screen but bit annoying you have to sit so close in order to get it to work. The cable is durable though. It is a cable if you are okay with tweeking the settings when working with the menu and the game itself. It gives you a bigger psp screen on the TV but it does not utilize the entire screen right off the bat. I would suggest getting a longer cable or an adapter that can easily upscale to the appropriate screen size.

I have a 2001 model PSP and this cable does not work at all; the PSP does not even recognize that it's plugged in. It still asks me to "connect an AV cable" even though it's plugged in. Tried it with two TVs. Total waste of money and a con job. Don't buy this. If you want to buy this type of cable, pay 40 bucks for a Sony brand PSP cable.

Works well. They are cheaply made as far as the silver part is concerned. The silver bit on the connectors is loose on two of them (it comes completely off the end of the one so I've got to make sure I don't loose it or the colourful rings that tell me what plugs go where could be lost next). Because of that, overall quality is sub-par per my expectations.Besides that aesthetic flaw, they actually work fairly well so far. The picture quality is about what I would expect from a non-HD PSP being displayed on my HD TV. (Secret Agent Clank looks pretty good on my display.) So it functions perfectly and is easy to use (and will be much better after I buy some crazy glue to secure that stupid silver bit). The actual connectors seem to be of good quality and the cord seems sturdy enough. It's pretty good for it's price and I've had no actual problems with it.Also, I just realized that the product description says "ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH PSP 2000", but I'm pretty sure my sister's PSP is a 3000 series one and it works just fine with it.

Works with PSP 3000. Quality is not that good. Connector ends will break if pulled too hard. Length is reasonable. You will have to setup from PSP for video on TV, sound will come instantly.

It works! Displays my PSP's video signal to my capture card (Elgato Game Capture HD and AVerMedia Live Gamer Extreme both tested) at 480p 60fps. Love it.Cable length is great, connections are secure, PSP picks it up easily, just go to your Display Output settings and you're golden.

Sadly this item did not work well. The picture quality was poor very poor. The colors were off and muted, everything had a weird green hue to it and almost appeared black and white like. Anytime my character moved on the screen or I accessed the menu (I was playing trails in the sky) there was lines of green and red that flashed across the screen.I hate giving bad reviews but it simply did work for me. My advice buy a official Sony one.

This component cable works exactly as you'd expect. Native PSP games display flawlessly and look great on a modern TV and run at full-speed. PSP homebrew programs and games also have no trouble displaying on TV using this cable. It should be noted that native PSP games will not be full-screen, and will instead display at a reduced size. This not a flaw with the cable. The PSP does this deliberately. However there are some PSP homebrew games that can manually handle their video output and run at full-screen.

Works Well. Few things to remember. (or that I needed to do)1) I needed to connect all 5 of the colored plugs to my TV for it to work with video and audio. Connecting the green, blue, red only gives you video. Connect the other red and white to get audio (connect both so you get audio from both channels...i.e., speakers)2) Make sure you get a snug fit when you plug the other end into your PSP. It took me a few times b/c I was worried it would bend or break. It was plenty durable. Just ensure it's a good fit.3) To get the PSP to play on your TV: You have to be at the main home screen of the PSP. Then go to the far left menu (the settings menu). Scroll to "Connected Display Settings." Hit the x button. A menu pops to the right. Hit x when "Switch Video Output" is selected. This will immediately switch the display to your TV.then you can look at your TV and enjoy.NOTE: The menu filled the whole TV screen. However, when I played games, it only filled essentially the middle half of the TV screen. This was not a problem though. You can try adjusting the display settings from the main PSP menu from 16:9 to 4:3. That may help but I didn't mess with it much b/c it was easy enough to see and play the games.Lastly, the only drawback is that the cord has to be attached to the PSP. And is not very long so you have to sit close to the TV. It becomes more of a problem if you are low on battery and also have to plug in the PSP. It can make it hard to play.
