Haven't actually used it yet because I haven't gotten out to the warehouse store to get the paper towels that fit in it (we live an hour away from them and it's a cold, snowy winter). HOWEVER, this thing is so sharp looking. I've never seen a gold colored paper towel dispenser before, and I'm so glad I was able to get it. No issues with the lock mechanism and it is absolutely gorgeous. We are going to use this under a gazebo for our outdoor kitchen, so I will update more when it gets installed in a few months and is exposed to a degree to the outdoor weather. I believe it will last since it's made out of stainless steel. Both the hinges and lock mechanism works well after repeated testing, and the shiny gold is so pretty. The hardest part of getting this was trying to get the key out from the inside of the dispenser! Will update as soon as I can acquire the paper towels that go into it.

It's beautiful and lovely shade of gold. But it spots easily. It has developed a few rust spots from water splatter. They are very faint. But you really need to be on top of constantly wiping it. It included screws and anchors to screw it but I used command strips and it's holding up great. Despite the spots, it's well made and sturdy. It's also metal so be careful with it. My husband banged it by accident recently and made a small dent in it. My photos were taken before my husband dented it.

This is an attractive towel holder. It came covered in a "siran wrap"-type protectant film so it was unblemished. The color provides tasteful metallic bling. There are no sharp edges even on the inside, and the lock works well enough. I got this for a heavily used bathroom where paper guest towels can become expensive after a while and where a cotton hand towel feels unsanitary even with frequent changes. This seemed the perfect solution! And maybe it would have been, had the description reflected the thoughtful note the seller enclosed with the product. The description says this paper towel dispenser works with pretty much any type of folded towel. The seller's note says the dispenser works best with H2 towels. After some searching here on Amazon, I learned that H2 towels are smaller in size than your average, most common cases of 4,000 or so folded paper towels from elsewhere on the site or from a warehouse club or big box store. That's what I purchased for this dispenser before receiving it, and the towels shredded on the way out of the dispensing hole. So, now, I'll have to buy the H2 towels (which are not as economically priced but at least may not shred because of the smaller size). I will update after experimenting a while with the new size.When I ordered this dispenser about a month ago, it was listed at $26.99, which I consider a decent value. Kudos to the seller for showing integrity in pricing by not jacking up the price or dropping it substantially afterward (which would tell me that the initial value was inflated). I would feel good about buying from this seller again because of that honesty. This item arrived with no up-front cost to me, but I will have to pay a portion of the cost at tax time. I consider it well worth what I will pay and even worth the full list price.What keeps this from being a 5-star product is the description. If an item is going to require a customer to spend a little extra money to operate it easily (as this will for the H2 towels), I think it's only fair to stay that in the description, so people can make an informed decision as to whether they want to spend that extra money to operate the product. In my case, now that I own this item (and can't return it), I'm either forced to pay more to have it operate as expected or I'm left with a bum item I can't use. And that's not fair. Regardless, this is a good product. If you're looking for a sanitary towel dispenser and don't mind paying a little more for potentially seamless operation, this is one to consider.

This stainless is better than I had hoped for. I don't know the thickness, but it's thicker than I was expecting and the locking mechanism is legit. The dispenser comes with plastic sheeting over the surface that you need to peel off, which protects it until you have it mounted to the wall. It comes with mounting hardware, two keys, and instructions.The dispenser fits standard tri-fold paper towels. Great product if you're looking for one of these, don't get a cheap plastic one, this stainless one will last forever.
