Great pair of gloves, prepare to break them in. Quality leather, keeps the striking surface flat and holds firmly onto the hand. Wonderful dexterity, I managed to play a quick tune on my piano with them on (after breaking them in). Overall, great product.

I’m an amateur fighter, these gloves lasted about 2 weeks of constant use before coming apart at the seams. Should’ve known from the price but took a risk

Keep in mind I don’t know what I’m doing but these things look and feel awesome. The regular size fits me great. I’m 6’1” 200lbs and these fit perfectly. I was immediately punching everything in my house and felt super cool. Can’t wait to try them on the bag.

It's not perfect, but it does its job. I bought this gloves for mma grappling practices and it holds fairly well. The stitches did fall apart slowly after a few weeks of its use. For the price, however, it's fairly durable and comfortable for the mma sessions/practices. It's one of those gloves where you start out with and then 'upgrade' with the ones that'll last a bit longer (meaning more expensive products). It's still a great starter/pro-level gloves for any level of experiences!

Bought these for my 12 year old son Krav Maga class and they perform great on training pads. The padding is plenty thick enough for protecting the knuckles while doing padding training. Also the open palm design allows plenty of flexibility for grabbing and holding your partner. He is now 14 and they still fit a little tight. I would recommend these for maybe 10-13 year old groups.

Rating: 4.5 starsI started doing Muay Thai and other MMA about 7 months ago. I used classic 12oz gloves most of the time. I decided to switch to a 4-5oz pair and start getting more serious about my grappling and striking. I didn't want to drop a bunch of money before knowing what worked for me. I must say, these are fantastic and not just for the price. I think the quality definitely reaches above their retail value. They fit well and stay snug during extended bouts and don't overwarm your hands. Most importantly, they protect your hands and your opponent's body.I have two very minor complaints. First, the thumb strap could use a little soft fabric or rubber to prevent cutting into the skin during the break-in period. I constantly had rake marks on my palm from it until they were good and broken in. Second, the digital padding is a little bulky. After a month of striking, the padding hasn't smoothed out at all which I think speaks to it being a design decision. I do understand these are 5oz gloves though so the weight has to be made up somewhere.Overall, exceptionally pleased with Combat Sports and do plan to use more of their products in the very near future.

These are the best gloves I have found. The knuckle padding is a nice density for bag and focus-mitt work and are nicely broken in after about 10 hours of using them. The finger holes are the best part, stitching is a non-issue (no rough edges, no pinching), the finger tubes and end holes are the proper size and stop just before the middle knuckle flex (so no pinching there). The glove is light weight enough that I have no problems manipulating practice blades and sticks in my FMA class while wearing them. The only downside is that once my hands start to swell a bit from hitting stuff the thumb loop gets tight. Not hard to get the gloves off, but there is an impressed ring left behind. Another 2mm of room here would be perfect.
