These fit nice and work nice The main reason for the three stars is the Velcro strap over the thumbs I'm not a fan. Like you're trying to get your hand in here and monkey it in and velcro the wrist and then you got a velcro the The thumbs as well...

I love this company!!! They make great quality gear at a reasonable price, and it just looks great too. These fight gloves are awesome, I use these when I compete in MMA fights and I never felt that my gloves were uncomfortable at all, and they do a great job at protecting your hands. They are super comfortable, and I love the stretchy Elastic underneath the Velcro strap, and it’s super easy to get these on without messing up your hand wraps. 5 out of 5

So, I read a lot of people's reviews on these MMA gloves, and unfortunately MMA regulation figures heavily into the development of this glove. I am not sure how many of you bought these gloves for sport, or just to use on a bag. Really the gloves were designed for MMA combat. What this means is that, like the UFC style gloves, they are not designed for comfort. If you watch any UFC or regulated MMA event (besides probably Japanese Shooto which has the most comfortable glove ever), UFC designs their gloves not to protect the wrists, not to protect the fingers, and leads to a lot of unnecessary eye gouges because you can't make a fist. The real reason they do this, because it's the cheapest way to make a glove and they own all the rights to it. If you look up MMA style gloves, there are different styles but because UFC is considered the pinnacle, they follow the crappy now heavily unprotective design.Pride and Shooto, Japanese MMA promotions, had very different style gloves where in Pride the gloves were curved so you could make a fist and in Shooto it's like a grappling/boxing style glove. But, if you're here to fight in a cage, I think the glove is pretty standard.Honestly, though if you ever make UFC they will force you to wear their branded gloves and gear, so get used to it. I do not recommend kids get these gloves, unless you live in Russia and compete in the kids MMA events. Using it on a bag will leave your knuckles red, but they're only designed to punch someone in the face and for it to hurt. I often use the gloves to make videos of how to strike for MMA, but even me for most bag work I tend to use boxing gloves.. it's still a 10/10 for me, because it's affordable and it's standard and made by one of the industry leaders in Sanabul.

Good quality and sleek design. I ordered the black on black as I wanted the simplest look. I use these gloves in a conditioning/circuit training class. They're good for mitt drills but they feel like they won’t hold up with extensive, full force heavy bag work. If I'm wearing these and need to do heavy bag, I'll save my hands by only jabbing and working on other strikes like elbows and kicks. I usually go with size large for any kind of gloves. These aren’t completely snug which is understandable but I do get chaffing around the knuckles of my pinky and ring fingers (mostly pinky), enough to bruise/get red a tiny bit. Can probably wear hand wraps to help reduce that. I've only used them twice a week for two months and punching isn't the main focus of my particular class so I wouldn't say I've put them through heavy use. That being said, they have held up well and don't show signs of breaking down (yet). I'm satisfied as they came at a decent price and worked well for my purposes.

I bought these for use in my BJJ/MMA class and have already recommended them to a few friends. They perform well and don't get in the way which is what I wanted. I'm 5'9" 165lbs with normal sized hands and the S/M fit well.Pros:- Short break-in time- Comfortable out of the box- Two way closure allows handwraps fit underneath- Snug and secure fit- Great shock absorption while striking- Doesn't impede holds while grappling- Good Color OptionsCons:- The leather/foam may require a few sessions to really mold to you hands/fingers (not really a con, just keep it in mind)I bought a pair of these and the "Sanabul Essential 7 oz MMA Hybrid Sparring Gloves." Initially I planned on returning one of them, but I like them both so much I'm going to keep them and just alternate depending on what I'm focusing on that day. They are both great gloves and you can't go wrong with either... or one of each. The two pairs together cost less than my last single pair from a different company.
