The cup collapsed on me a couple of times spilling water all of the place. One has to be very careful when handling it.

I’m really impressed by the heft and shine of this stainless steel collapsible cup. It feels solid and sturdy, with a quality that reminds me of a pocket watch—like I could alternatively use it to hypnotize people. But I’ll probably just stick to drinking from it, as intended. We’ve had a plastic version of this in our glove compartment for a while, and it’s been super handy on road trips and outings. I decided to upgrade to this stainless steel version to replace the plastic. This one is much cooler and healthier, and I love the key ring for easy attachment to my backpack if we take it hiking. Mine stays extended and allows drinking without leaking, but maybe it will get looser over time. So far, so good. Recommend!

We camp a lot, and when visiting other camps, it's polite to bring along your own cup, so you don't stress their resources. However, walking up to someone with cup in hand is perhaps a bit entitled, so I thought having a cup I can stash in a pocket or bag is a good idea. This cup is well made and doesn't leak like others I have had. It collapses and expands easily, and doesn't give your beverages off tastes (although I haven't tried it with acidic drinks). Very easy to take along, a convenient size, does its job well, and is a good value.
