It'll hold a field drum or large tom, but if it's heavy the height will slowly drop since the wing nut and/or plastic used for friction is NOT strong enough

This stand came complete with two missing wing nuts! Otherwise, decent purchase for the price. Would've had a hire rating if it weren't missing pieces...

I thought it was going to be a concert stand, and it going to hold a snare. Well, i was wrong, it broke on the 2nd day of use. Dont waste you money on this.

This is a great snare drum stand for drum sets and if you're sitting and playing with a drumpad. But if you're part of the drumline like me, do not get this stand. It only stands about 2 feet at its tallest, this is not the stand you want if you plan on standing up and playing, but if that doesn't matter to you, I would recommend getting it. It's great quality and compacts neat and nicely.

I've had it for about a month to use with my Yamaha electric drumpad, and so far it stays put very well, it raises up taller than I'd hoped, and it hasn't fallen over! No problems.

Purchased solely for a stand to store my spare snare and to carry someplace where I do not need the whole kit. It is not terribly robust, but adequate.

This is a fine stand for our purposes (firmly holds electronic drum in position and at desired angle)... so do bear in mind that it is not serving as a snare drum stand currently. Ideal construction.
