This is a very high snare stand, engineered for stand up playing. I was looking for a high stand since most of them are short , not useable with practice pads only. If you want to practice on a practice pad sitting down, it is still high even on shortest setting. I still manage to use it ( 5’11’’) with a straight back and elbows at a real 90 degrees. Keep in mind my sitting height gives me knees over 90 degrees. Since finding a good stand with a high configuration is a bit complicated, I will keep it. The quality of this product is remarkable, very nice stand. The chrome is very high quality. Very stable strong and stable structure.Took the tape out. The practice pad stands at 32’’ at the lower setting.

Toco de pie la mayor parte del tiempo, mi tarola es pesada, ya que tiene algunos extras, como un platillo 14" y un cencerro, todo instalado en la misma tarola, con clamps.Es realmente pesada, lo cual genera peso extra e inestabilidad, con antiguas bases tenía problemas relacionados con el peso, se quebraban y desoldaban, esta base DW 3000 tamaño concierto, es realmente fuerte y practica, esta muy bien construida.El diámetro de las patas para estabilizarse en el suelo es mayor al de la mayoría.Es una gran compra.
