I have a narrow hallway leading from garage into house and was looking for something smaller to fit that space to drop shoes, coats and hats. This is perfect! Doesn’t make the space look too crowded and allows us extra storage for these things to use as we go in and out this door. I looked around for quite a while before I purchased this. I am pleased with the purchase.

It fits perfect in my smaller space. So far I love it. It’s early to tell how well it will hold up. Hopefully it will be fine.

There were some assembly challenges. Even the instructions says it requires 2 people. So I got someone to hold my beer while I figured things out. Instruction #1 already had me rethinking the drinking of beer while putting this together. It will appear as though the hex screw will not fit the hole. It won’t thread. It won’t turn. You will drop the hex key 20 times while the screw falls out 30 times. You will want another beer. Then you’ll just say “f” it and force the screw in the hole and voila! It now fits. Some screws went in easy, others didn’t. Then the bottom part of the legs have an oval that is supposed to fit into a circle of the top part of the legs. So you’d better have a hammer/mallet and maybe something stronger than beer because even my 5yr old niece knows an oval doesn’t fit into a circle. So give it a couple of whacks to get it in. After that, it really all comes together. Even with the small issues it only took me about 45 minutes to put together. I love how it’s not huge and overwhelming in the room. It isn’t the thickest of material, but it serves my purpose.Bonus: it comes with a shim if your floor isn’t even!

The actual assembly wasn't bad. All the pieces were clearly labeled and the packaging came with all the tools needed. No screwdrivers or hammers required! The trickiest part was attaching the D crossbar because of the angle/fit. I did this entirely by myself (F,34) and other than a few awkward moments of trying to prop up the shelf at an angle to screw on the wooden shelf, it wasn't bad. Took me about an hour. It's not heavy, just tall and a little awkward. The height of the shoe rack is not made for boots, unless you put them on the wooden panel. And unfortunately the lightswitch was at the same height as the lowest set of coathooks, so I had to adjust where to put the rack itself.Overall though it fits neatly beside my door and will be nice to use for my coats/scarves/purse instead of draping them on the banister. 9/10 for assembly. 10/10 for usefulness.

This coat rack is so cute. I put it in the entry way and it is perfect. It took me a bit to put it together, user error, not the instructions, but I did it solo in about 40 minutes or so,
