Beautiful and functions just as it should. Rating 2 stars because we had to drill our own holes because all the holes in the bottom half did not match up (we spent hours over the course of TWO DAYS quadruple checking we did it just as the instructions said to). They were drilled in the wrong locations. The way you have to build it makes it easy to break pieces too. The dowels they provide are brittle and snap with any slight movement. They are only there for extra stability, so we were able to go without a couple and be fine, but it was super frustrating to build. Shipping was quick. I am enjoying it, but I would never purchase again. Please use caution when choosing this item.

The item came bent with flimsy particle board and when me and my husband assembled it, the piece snapped when we were assembling ACCORDING TO INSTRUCTIONS because it was bent. When I reached out to the seller asking for a refund they said it was “user error”. I use Amazon all of the time and I’ve never had an issue with doing returns with faulty items before. Will be reporting this seller.

I like the look… assembly was a pain. It is large and fits our space. Very thin wood, back is not wood but the thin cardboard backing stuff. We will see how long it holds up to 3 boys!

This large hall tree is perfect for what we needed. The directions were good and it is easy to build if you are moderately skilled. I glued all joints as well as using the hardware provided.
