Assembles fine without leaks, but twice now the main body of this freezes up/clogs after a short blast when there is still a lot of CO2 in the cartridge. I then remove it, wait for the nozzle to warm up & thaw, then I can get another short burst of air then it freezes/plugs up again. What a disappointment. I have another brand that doesn't do this with identical cartridges. Head scratcher why this one plugs/freezes up (air hole too small?).Also, no instructions which isn't a big whoop. But there is a spare tiny o-ring that I'm not sure what its purpose is. I use mine on Shrader valves, so maybe this is for Presta? Finally, the internally threaded section of this where the CO2 cartridge turns in... the cartridge screws in at an angle/threads not cut perpendicular to the main body (picture somewhat shows it). Process/quality control problem seems to me. Kinda surprised it doesn't leak yet.

Make sure the bar is in the vertical position before screwing in the cartridge. Screw the other end onto the tire valve and gently rotate the bar to inflate the tire. There is no leakage. The red piece is just foam to insert the cartridge but it isn't necessary and didn't fit my cartridges anyway. It's there just because the cartridges can get cold when releasing gas (thanks to the Bernoulli principle).

I've used this several times and it does do the job with little effort. Attaches to the valve stem with no problem. Be aware that the release valve is a little sticky so ease it open. Btw, a single CO2 cartridge gave me one fill for a 26.5" x 2.10 bike tire. Price was not too bad either. I carry the tap and 2 cartridges in my tool pouch on my bike just in case.

Be aware-- this doesn't come with any CO2 cartridges. They is probably my error for not reading the item description closely enough, but it was a disappointment that I now have to make another separate purchase to be able to use this item! Live and learn, the product itself seems pretty cool and convenient though!

It stopped working after 4 uses. It doesn't seal when fully closed and is no longer useful as it dumps the entire contents of the CO2 canister immediately upon installing.Worked fine for the first four uses.

The perfect little gadget that helps you get scooters, bikes, ebikes, EUCs, etc ... tires quickly seated! Remember that CO2 is thinner than air, so you should slowly let out some without losing the seated tension and replace it with regular air. Repeat several times depending on the size of the tire so that it's filled with mostly air, not CO2.

At first I was skeptical to buy this gadget. Then when I got it and used it for the first time I was very impressed. Good construction and relatively easy to use, I’m an avid cyclist and I know that when you’re out on road your tires depend on a good piece device to quickly air them and continue. Overall.. excellent product!!
