It's now September 2020 and I purchased these in May of 2016. I just have to say that I am amazed with this purchase. The price is outstanding for the number of LEDs you get and after using a couple of dozen of them I haven't found a bad one yet. I want to order more but can't ever see myself using all of them.But this is really what got me: If you use standard LED / resistor calculators and drive them at about 10ma you'll end up blinding everyone in your neighborhood with them. THEY ARE SUPER BRIGHT. When you dial up the resistance and bring the brightness down to a reasonable level then the current draw is minuscule. I have some IOT solar projects coming up and I know these will be perfect as they draw so little current. That makes these ideal for any LED project you have that runs off batteries as the batteries will last several times longer than with standard LEDs.I don't usually take the time to write Amazon reviews, but these have impressed me more than any purchase in quite a while. I really can't understand the negative reviews. It's certainly the best $9 I've ever spent.

These LED Lights are perfect for any electronic project, they come well package and organized. They are of high quality and should last for years. They all come in a clear glass look and not colored but they are identified within the case. I think this package is well worth the money.

They work fine and they are really bright, like you can't look at them head on (along the axis and leads) without your eyes hurting and quite bright when you look at them from the side. The colors are vibrant, the yellow ones looked more amber to me than yellow and not a whole lot different from the reds, but I am slightly color blind and always had trouble telling red from yellow LEDs.

I love that this came in a plastic container that was presorted, but as I have looked through these clear lights I have begun to realize that this could be somewhat problematic as a few people have randomly put the lights in other containers. Of course you could easily test the colors prior to using them, but as tightly packed as they are (because they filled it full!!!) its easy to knock a bulb into the other compartment with retrieving one. I love that this had both 3mm and 5mm together. I do wish there was an option to add resistors, but I'm not complaining for the price! Overall this is a great set of lights.

I gave this a 4star rating only because some colors were in the wrong compartment and found a few duds(possibly user error with the polarity). Not a big deal if you have an Led test board. That will be my next project as I use these diodes for my scale radio controlled trucks. Powered correctly they are very bright. The yellow is more orange but I rarely need yellow so having orange is great for running lights, turn signals and marker lights on trailers.Would be helpful to have a spec sheet along with the color chart for those of us who need or would like to have a cheat sheet on hand.All in all I'm pleased with the quality and will be a repeat purchaser when I need more.

It's a nice little box, filled with five colors of two sizes of LEDs. The only data you get on the LEDs is a voltage range, so I have no idea if these are good LEDs or bad ones. They seem to work, and they've got nice saturated colors.So far, the only thing I can complain about is the brand-name that is hot-stamped into the box. I don't know about you, but I don't want "Corrode" anywhere near my electronics. I think this is a good way to keep a bunch of LEDs convenient in your tool box.

These are perfect for LED crafters or anyone interested in doing DIY LED projects. There are books on Amazon that teach you how to do KED crafts and projects if you don't have any knowledge or experience. From creating crafts like glowing eyes in your bushes to home upgrades like accent lighting, there are so many uses for these little lights and thus is a great deal for such a large assortment. Definitely recommend to anyone who uses LED lights on a regular basis or wants to start LED projects.

I used these to swap LEDs on several of my MXR pedals changing the dull red to blue. They work great, but THEY ARE BRIGHT! So be warned! (Green seems to be the brightest of them all) I love that bright look. I spot-tested several of each color before installing using a 3V car remote or watch battery (DON'T TEST WITH A 9V!!!). I didn't have a single dead one. All LEDs are nicely arranged in this case by color and size. They work great, but I wish orange was included too. Overall, no complaints though!
