This brace has given me back full use of my left hand. I had surgery on my right hand for the CMC joint and don't want to do that again. It allows full range of movement with good support. Other braces I've tried are hard plastic between the thumb and forefinger and are very restrictive and uncomfortable. I am able to wear this one all day in comfort while working two full time jobs. There is still a bit of discomfort in the joint, but I think this brace will allow for my hand to recover and keep feeling better with continued use. I do recommend going up a size if you are in-between two on the size chart like they recommended. Very happy with this purchase!

I have a damaged thumb from birth, I think it's hereditary because my mother also has it. I drive delivery trucks and a few weeks ago I turned my thumb, it hurt to press down while holding on to my fingers. To be honest, I bought this for the good price and I didn't want to spend money on something that might not work for me. It did its job, a little uncomfortable the first day, but after that it's not so bad. I only use it for work now. And today I just realized that my thumb doesn't get hunched like it used to. My birth defect finger is fixed, thank God and this brace. First review I've done on Amazon and I bought one for my mom.

I have bought at least 10 different styles and this by far, is my favorite! I have CMC issues in my thumb that require surgery to fix however, taking 8-12 weeks off is not an option at this time, so I use this to constrict the movement and it works perfect!I am able to continue grooming dogs ❤️🐾I would recommend trying this to anyone In the industry looking for temporary relief.It did take me a few days to get use to, but now I don’t even realize I’m wearing it and tend to leave work with it on. Lol

Pequeña, ligera y con zona adaptable rigida. Es lo mejor, mas comodo y discreto que tengo para sostener la zona y que no me duela la maño. Se lava bien y me deja la zona inmovil y movil a la misma vez. Ademas es pequeño y no molesta en el bolso o en el escritorio.

I’ve been using the Fitomo CMC Thumb Brace for two weeks now, and I’ve noticed a personal improvement in my thumb joint's stability. I deal with some joint discomfort and mild arthritis, and while I can't say it will work for everyone, it has been helpful for me. The memory foam material moulds to my thumb nicely without causing discomfort.What I appreciate most is the balance between support and flexibility. I can still move my fingers for tasks like typing, but the brace keeps my thumb steady. The adjustable strap helps get a snug fit, though I found it takes a couple of tries to get just right. I wear it for several hours a day, and overall, it’s been comfortable.If you’re looking for something to help with thumb discomfort or instability, this brace is definitely worth trying, but as with any product, results may vary.

Primero vamos con lo malo, su uso es incómodo si la apretamos demasiado, estamos hablando de una férula que inmoviliza parcialmente el movimiento del pulgar, pero la ergonomía del agujero donde se introduce el dedo es inexistente, es una simple costura que nos aprisionará el espacio y que concentra la presión en un solo punto, cuanto más apretemos el velcro para inmovilizar a un 90%, más nos molestará en dicha zona, hasta el punto de sentir como corta la circulación y nos causa dolor por su presión.Pero si la usamos apretando lo justo lo sobrellevaremos bastante mejor, inmovilizando aproximadamente un 60 o 70% el movimiento del dedo, lo cual ayuda a no sobrecargar la zona y a evitar la molestia que he comentado.El material que da rigidez a la férula es demasiado blando, imagino que debe ser de aluminio bastante delgado, hubiera agradecido que su grosor fuera un poco mayor, pero entiendo que no es una férula que busque una rigidez total.Para quien necesite una mayor inmovilidad, siempre queda el recurso de colocar una gasa o algo mas mullido entre el interior del dedo y la costura, para que no apriete de una forma tan cortante. Pero si necesitas inmovilizar al 100%, mejor buscar otro tipo de férula .

It is a soft brace not one that has a hard piece of metal which can be bent to support you so if you need more support, this might not be the best one, but it works perfectly for me! Provides just the right amount of support and flexibility that I need.

The support for the cmc joint is mild. The position of the thumb hole seems too low causing pressure on the thumb. Overall not a useful product in my opinion.

I've purchased many hand braces in search for a good CMC thumb brace, this one is not it.Photos deceiving by using fake bone x-ray overlays to distorted the actual views. Inadequate support of the CMC joint and surrounding tissues. There is more support on the top of the hand, then the inside of the hand for thumb support. Item is over priced, not designed for daily long-term use.Just to try it on, I noticed, it is lock of padding, the inside metal strip is only half way support of the CMC joint/tissue to provide thumb stability. Velcro will not last for daily wears or long term use. The thumb opening is very small for a normal size small person. I'll be returning it.
