This is a well made tool bag. I had originally bought a similar tool bag at Harbor Freight and within 2 months of using it every day at work the tools were coming through the bottom of the pockets. This particular bag the material is super thick so it is really tough

Just the right size to keep my most often used tools handy, without getting stupid heavy. I’ve had it six months, use it five days a week and it’s still like brand new.

This electrical toolbar is a great value for the money. Plenty of room for screwdrivers, pliers, strippers and cutters. Chose this one because of the roomy compartment in the middle of the bag. I carry two M12 impact drivers, a voltage meter, and and a tester. These fit quite easily and are also accessible. The 12 compartment box on the side is absolutely perfect for doing repair work or old work. Having a small box with wire nuts, romex connectors, ground screws, tap cons and various fittings makes it so convenient and efficient for getting the job done quickly and easily. The one thing I changed was the screwdriver holders. I like them to fit snuggly and securely and I use Wiha primarily. I took apart the stitching and made the loops bigger and resewed them making it 5 spaces instead of 6. This was quite time consuming and in the end it was well worth it.

I took a long time looking around for the right tool carrier for my new wood turning hobby and this electrician's tote turned out to be exactly what I needed. Because I started off turning wooden pens and lots of small parts are required, the storage tray tray hidden in the base of the bag comes in very handy for keeping bushings, brass tubes, spare parts, etc. organized and readily available. Plenty of pockets, zippered compartments, nooks and crannies are very satisfying if you're the kind of guy who likes to keep your stuff conveniently located as well as portable. Besides loving this tool carrier, I am writing this review because there is a tip I want to share that has to do with the condition the item arrived in when Amazon shipped it. You'll notice in the pictures of this tool carrier the handle flaps stand straight up and down. They are in fact pretty rigid and designed to stand up out of the way of the storage on either sides of the tote. Unfortunately, when mine arrived it had been packed in a box that required the handle flaps to be pushed down to one side. As a consequence, the flaps would not stand up even when I loaded the bag up and suspended it over night in an effort to get them to straighten out. This may not seem like a big issue but I found with the flaps bent to one side, I was having a hard time getting to items stored on that side of the carrier. After a few weeks of this and nearly on the verge of deciding to return the tote, I came up with a solution. I figured there had to be some kind of a plastic insert inside those flaps keeping them rigid so if I could heat them up a little I might be able to straighten them out. I took a small hair dryer my girlfriend leaves at my house and used this to warm up the flaps while the bag was suspended. I moved the hair dryer around a lot to keep from burning the canvas covering and I worked on both sides of each flap alternating back and forth. After about 5 minutes of this the annoying curvature in the flaps relaxed and my tool carrier now looks like the one in the picture. I left the carrier hanging up overnight and there hasn't been any relapse into the bent position.Go ahead and order this nifty tool carrier if you think it will suit your needs and if you run into the same problem I did just pull out a hair dryer and in 5 minutes or so, it will be like you bought it off the shelf at your local hardware store.

About Me: I work on a little bit of everything, home remodeling, electrical, plumbing, appliances, security systems, surveillance systems, so my favorite, gotta have tools run the gamut. My old bag was a smaller AWP of similar style.About this bag...First off, I just got it and loaded it up so my opinion will change as time goes on. What follows are just my initial impressions.Pros: Nice bag. Nice construction. Looks like it will last for years. You can cram a lot of stuff in this bag. The small parts box in the bottom is a nice touch and will come in handy. Looks impressive when fully loaded.Cons: I think they really missed the boat on how they laid out the tool storage. There are no loops for storing screw drivers and nut drivers so you either have to cram them all into one of the large inside pockets or split them up one or two to a pocket in the outside pockets. Some of the outside pockets are so deep, you can't use them for most tools so they are limited to longer tools like channel-locks or linesman pliers. Pockets for regular sized hand tools (pliers, needle-nose etc.) are also in short supply. I don't like putting more than one tool in a pocket. The zippered pocket/mesh pocket on the one end is too small. Should have been more pouch like in order to make it more crammable (is that a word?).I'll keep it, but I'm sure I'll have to add a few "after-market" customizations to make it work for me. I uploaded some pics to give you a better idea. They sure left a little to be desired in that area. All-in-all, would I buy it again? Yes.EDIT: Wow. Can't believe its been 2.5 years since I bought this bag! Still holding up great. I ended out solving my screwdriver / nut driver storage problem by cutting a dozen 5" long pieces of 1.5" EMT and cramming those in the ends. Now every screwdriver and nut driver has a home and I know at a glance if I'm missing something.
