The temperature control on this was fantastic- no burning cheese or chocolate. Product was small but still held a lot of dip! Only issue was that cheese got into the heating element- user error- and i haven’t been able to scrub it off.

Never would get hot. Temperature was set to highest temp and turned off after 30 seconds. Had to cook on my stovetop.

This more for show than use. We finally got the chance to use it. Sat back with chocolate and cut fruit. We waited for the pot to heat, 10 minutes no, 20 minutes no, 30 minutes no the whole thing got warm but not enough for the chocolate to care.

I purchased two of these. We have had cheese fondue, chocolate fondue and main course fondue in these pots. Turn them all the way up to start melting/heating your course. Once everything is at the right consistency then turn it down to the middle range while eating, then when your almost done all the way down. We found that the cheese and chocolate did excellent in melting down and staying warm. The broth for the main course if you have it at the max line took forever to heat. I had to remove 3/4 of the broth to get it to boil. I also took some of the broth and heated it up on the stove to try to get it to boil/heat up in the fondue pot. It never did at the max level. We will only us this for the cheese and chocolate courses. The heating control is described in the booklet they give you as a number range, there are no numbers, just a sliding low to high range. It would be nice to have a temperature gauge to set it onto then just a guesstimate.

super fun!!!.. heat in a pot on the stove them transfer to fondue pot! we did 3 courses and had a blast!!
