This is very easy to clean. Much smaller than I expected. I would actually refer to it as tiny. However, it's ok for 2 to 3 people.

Two stars because it looks cute, but it does not have sufficient heat power to melt anything. The description states it melts chocolate or cheese, but it does not. It barely melts chocolate after a long time (it took us around 40 minutes). We then realized the instructions booklet clearly says: “prepare your cheese or chocolate fondue in a separate saucepan.” We finally gave up and used the microwave to melt the chocolate and then we poured it in the fondue pot. The pot was able to keep the chocolate melted for a while. Basically it is a cute warming pot.

I purchased to keep chocolate warm for making candies. It is a little small for this application. Works fine for a chocolate dessert fondeau. Easy to clean.

This is pretty much an ideal fondue pot.1. It has the ceramic insert, perfect for cheese or chocolate fondue.2. The outer metal pot is used either as a double boiler under the ceramic insert (much like a chafing dish) or used directly with hot oil for frying chunks of meat or vegetables.3. It has ALL the parts you need for any type of fondue. You always need the forks! You don't always need the collar with the nice notches to hold the forks, but it's there. Obviously, it has a burner (but you'll need gel fuel, not included but easily obtained locally or online).It's also a nice price. Let's face it, some people buy a fondue pot, use it once, and get discouraged because the chocolate sauce wasn't perfect, or some of the cheese sauce burned on the bottom. For them, it's a white elephant so, just in case, you don't want to spend a fortune here. But you DO need an excellent fondue cookbook so you get through your first couple experiments. Then you will happily pull this pot out and impress your significant other, or your guests, with the delights of fondue.And if nothing else, it will do a nice job keeping gravy warm for Thanksgiving. Then of course there's Valentine's Day, because chocolate sauce is always a sensual delight.You'll also want an excellent fondue cookbook, such as the one by Rick Rodgers.
