The first and only time I tried using this cutter I attempted to cut 17mm and 12mm diameter circles in paper. I found it very akward and frustrating to use. The cutter is designed so that you must hold it at an angle relative to the surface to be cut, otherwise the blade will not cut well or at all. The stylus is not sharp and during operation would not stay in place. As a result of these two conditions, I found it very difficult (almost impossibele) to cut circles in a material the seller claims it will work on. After about twenty attempts to cut circles, I found the cutter is very good at holding down the bottom of a trash can.

Cannot figure what this item was really designed to cut...even paper is a challenge for it. It reminds me of a prize you win at a carnival.

I found it easy to use. The blade doesn't always get a clean cut but I didn't feel like it was a big deal.
