This allowed us to use a much quieter inverter generator (120v); in place of the NOISY 240v open frame generator. NOTE: our GEN/House switch only had 120V circuits!!! Happy wife, Happy neighbors

This hooked my generator 3 prong to my house 4 prong. Couldn't find this anywhere else. Perfect.

The product arrived early and appeared to be well made. Unfortunately, it did not work with my Duromax generator. My generator requires a four pronged plug on one end and a four pronged receptacle on the other. This has a three on one end and four on the other. e wIt was my error that I ordered the wrong adaptor.

I bought a Predator 3500 inverter generator which has two NEMA 5-15 (standard wall outlets) and the three prong L5-30P connector as many small generators do. I bought a L14-30R male (4 prong) to 3 x 5-15 cord at Harbor Freight with the generator. This setup allowed me to expand the regular 5-15 outlets on the generator from 2 to 5 total. Worked perfectly and came in very handy, along with 5 long heavy duty extension cords, to power essentials during the two days without power when Ian blew through Florida.
