I got this for my GoPro aluminum cage. I really like the solid feel and the 1/4" screw goes right up into the cage holding my GoPro 12. The screw hole on the bottom will easily accommodate my small tripod.I just really like the feel and durability. It is a bit heavier than my plastic grips but is rock solid in my hand. Only thing I miss is some kind of lanyard hole.

Very solid. A bit on the heavy side if used as a hand-holding grip but as for mounting it's impeccable. The joints are very secure on both ends (1/4"), providing good support for heavy equipment. No rubberized grip however the texturized surface ensures a good bond for clamping as well as a moderately tacky feel for handling. Anyone who appreciates solid tools for handling heavy equipment will surely be very happy with this.

Bought this to use with my Nikon P950, which is a relatively heavy camera. Attachment is very stable and solid. If I need my monopod, I can attach it directly to the ChromLives handle without having to remove it from the camera. It is a nice sturdy piece of aluminum, a little heavy, but much more durable than a piece of plastic.

I use it with Panasonic HC-V785 Camcorder and it’s match made in heaven. So much easier than using the palm strap. It feel solid metal with little weight to it. Perfect match.

Solid construction, very strong. I use it as an extension on my top down mount to get the camera a little higher. Works great
