This pad features PUR+ (Poly-Urethane-Reactive Bonding). This pad has the most durable and resistant backing plate, it is soft and gentle to paint. This pad also features Hexagon technology, also known as Hex-Logic. Hex-Logic pads are designed to hold product and distribute it evenly over the surface of the pad delivering a superior even finish that is hard to achieve with any other pad. The unique construction of the pads makes them extremely easy to maneuver while distributing the product evenly on the surface. The Hex-Logic pads keep the product in the groves while you start and as the pad is spun and rubbed against the surface, the polish will travel through the hex-groves into the pad, evenly delivering a superior accurate finish. The surface is constantly lubricated which reduces friction and marring. The unique hex laser cut surface of the pad enables Hex-Logic pads to conform to the shape of the surface delivering maximum surface contact. The Hexagon construction forms perfectly to a vehicle's many curves while the unique pad construction reduces unnecessary heat. The Self-Centered Pads are uniquely sized to 5.5 inches making them perfect for big or small jobs. These pads have a "V" like construction so the face of the pad is wider than the backing, offering a one inch foam protector that assures no matter how hard you push, you will never hit the backing of the plate against the surface.

Chemical Guys Hex-Logic Ultra Light Finishing Pad Review As a complete novice to auto detailing, I was honestly a bit intimidated at first. I had never done any sort of detailing before, but after picking up a set of the Chemical Guys Hex-Logic Ultra Light Finishing Pads (Red, 5.5-inch) to go with my new TORQX Random Orbital Polisher, the whole process turned out to be effortless.The pads were incredibly easy to use, even for someone with no prior experience. The hexagonal design really helps distribute the polish evenly, and combined with the TORQX, it made achieving a smooth, professional-looking finish much simpler than I expected. The softness of the pads worked perfectly for applying waxes and sealants without causing any damage to the paint.What surprised me the most was how forgiving and user-friendly these pads were. Even as a beginner, I felt confident while using them, and the results exceeded my expectations. Plus, they’re durable enough to withstand multiple uses while still performing like new, and cleanup was hassle-free.I’d recommend these pads to anyone, especially if you’re new to detailing. They made my first experience so easy and enjoyable that I’m already looking forward to the next project.

Great pad and it says in the description allllllllll the way at the bottom that it contains 1 so don't be fooled by the picture, personally I think it's bad marketing but they do make a great product so for that I give you 3 stars! Would be five if I could have got what was pictured just saying.

I placed it on a Dewalt polisher. After using the pad for a year, the color is getting a bit darker but still fully functional. It really makes my cars shinning with Turtle liquid wax.

I got this as an additional light finishing pad, and I like it. It's a solid pad, and looks like it'll last a while if I keep it clean and dry. It fits well on my 5 inch polisher, and the the surface is softer than the other pads I have. I wanted this one for final-stage wax application, and I'm glad I got it. A good quality pad!

I have purchased a few of these pads in different colors. I have used them and I have never had them break apart like people claimed. I used the spray to dampen the pad as required and spray them to clean. They looked brand new once they dry up. I will keep buying.

J'applique la cire et/ou le scellant à peinture à l'aide de l'applicateur rouge et de ma polisseuse Rupes BF21 et le résultat est spectaculaire. Plus de profondeur et le lustre est incroyable. La cire dure environ un mois de plus que si je l'applique de la façon traditionnelle avec tampon mousse.

Great Pad for the application of one step Producs, very light cutting ability, but leaves a super brilliant shine by the time product is gone. Hex design is fantastic! I will have to get a few more!!!!!

Don't know why people complain these don't last. Must be poor technique. I've used 1 pad on a few cars and they wash out just fine. They are well constructed and do exactly what they are designed to do.
