Order was .Received last night. Need to try all bowls, but particularly interested in the smaillest bowl because it relates to the Crown Chakra. Striking that smallest bowl I get nice resonating sound, but it will not "sing" when usng a mallet - continuously "hum" if that is more descrptive. Only had time to check a couple other bowls and found I needed to use a different hammer than what came with the bowls. No hammer makes the smallest bowl sing. I need to spend the day checking the other bowls. I have a set of Vietnamese bowls that sing perfectly, so it has nothing to do with size - it has to do with purposeful neglect in production and ineffective quality control. After a prolonged day of checkin the bowls in detail I will add to my comment. I wanted to quickly post a review for those considering these bowls and change stars as appropriate. More than disappointed. Advise careful review of all comments posted and waiting till I check all bowls and revise my post as needed. I will, of course. lodge a complaint with the supplier and get a resosolution. I have the Vietnamese bowls and also crystal bowls. Just be cautious and judicious in choosing these bowls and check them soon as you received them. At least they are beautiful in appearance.

The product I ordered did not match what I received. The bowls were not new at all. They were scratched inside as if someone had severely mistreated the bowls. I"m very disappointed in this purchase.

I only received 6 singing bowls, not 7. I have contacted the seller and am waiting to her back. However, because they are not labeled, I am not sure what one I am missing, though my guess is the smallest one. Also, the mallets are cheaply made. In regards to the bowls themselves, they are stunning, and beautiful and sing for a long time. Super impressed with the tones and the length of vibration. Really excited to play them, bask in their resonance, but really hope to received my 7th bowl soon.

Hello, radically bummed. I purchased the same bowls 2xs. The picture posted on amazon look like the bowls I purchased few years ago. I saved money for a new set to use with kids at a school that I do free mindfulness classes at...anyway.. the new set doesn't even look like it's made out of the same materials, glossy finish [drips of something hard as a rock on the inside of some of the bowls, micro fractures, uneveness, nearly a hole in one, I repurchased because of the quality of the last set that looks very similar to the picture shown. I will not purchase again. I am scared to have the kiddos play these as they seem to be 1/8 the quality, they will break the ones with fractures for sure. The mallet's are all small mallets and all duplicates [also fabric uneven and falling apart] as shown and as received the first time I ordered [different sizes and types] I wish I could return but serious hassle and I need bowls for the kiddos. First set 5 stars. This set 1star . Posted as a 3 because even in pictures posted by others similar qualities of first set and then some of the set I just purchased. The bowls deserve to be loved, I'm sure the kids will more than I, hopefully they will make it through the first season of this school year. I wish repairs by the company can be made as it would have been best to not ship these in the first place......quality control effectiveness needs to increase. I have referred so many of my clients to purchase these bowls...will not be doing again due to the quality of this set.

I already had 4 bowls from Thamelmart, and since I loved each of them, I decided to splurge on a set to fill out the range. The description implies that this set plays a scale, but that is a bit misleading. The seven bowls nest in one another, and they play a variety of tones, but they are not in a chromatic scale. I suspect that most such sets are the same way. Metal bowls don't play a single note; they resonate at several frequencies simultaneously. You can often bring out different notes, depending on how they are struck or stroked. The seven bowls I received are each delightful individually, and they sound good together. My intent in ordering them was to have a variety of bowls to play together, and this set has met my expectations. One of them in particular does not sound that great when struck, but it is probably my favorite for rim stroking. I am pleased with all my Thamelmart bowls, and you can't beat free shipping, especially given their weight.

These singing bowls sound beautiful and play easily by either striking or playing the rim. They resonate well for a good amount of time. My entire set arrived quickly and safe and sound because of the professional job done to pack them for shipping. All of my bowls are in tune (for Chakra alignment & meditation) but, keep in mind these are handmade so, variances may occur, as is always the case with individually handcrafted items. Each set is picked to provide you with the proper sounds and the seller matches the bowls for the sets very well. Everything needed is provided. The silk pillows, mallets and strikers that come with the set are equally beautiful, functional and handcrafted. The price for this set is exceptionally affordable. I've easily paid three times as much for individual bowls and find myself using this particular set just as often. I highly recommend this set for quality, sound, ease of use and price.

Not quite sure I'm going to love these yet.The Pros: the are much bigger than they look in the picture. They are real easy to play both striking and friction. The mallets and striker are very nice. The pillow stands are gorgeous. There are 7 distinct tones. The tones on most are crisp and clear. The Cons: The 7 tones are not the exact Chakra tones. The struck tones are not clean on the smaller bowls.Overall I will say this is a good product. For the price it is above and beyond. If you are a professional healer and really need all 7 tones crisp and clean I would say invest in a more expensive set. The friction voice on the small bowls is beautiful. Every bowl has a multilayer of voice when struck. If you are like me, just starting on my healing journey, this is an excellent set. I'm sure I will get a lot of good use out of this set.
