Didn’t think a practice amp could sound this good, better clearer low end, very smooth high end and removed all the fender shrill from the high end that was ear piercing, overall everything sounds better and feels better. The magnet is pretty large as well. Very good build quality as well.

I was looking for mods to do on my little Vox VT20X on google and came across a review from Kevin Andrews on this speaker, that he had installed in the same amp as me and he seemed blown away by this mod. 40€ later, I'm happy I took the chance and bought the speaker! It definitely sounds different from the original (as it should, at least from being a diferent impedance and wattage). But it sounds harmonious... and nuanced. The tone changed so I'm getting used to the new sounds but it's like the sound is refined. And like the speaker is now more sensible to the sounds that are trying to get out and sounds just last longer.I recommend it to everyone trying to change/improve the sound in their little amps and give them a new life.

It was a definite upgrade to the stock speaker in my amp but the bass was too flubby for what I play. Would have been great for blues, good for rock but it got too loose for higher gain.I ended up using an Eminence ALPHA-8A in my Blackstar HT-1R.Would not install it in a Fender Champ unless you are replacing a blown speaker and liked the original tone. This speaker is basically an upgraded version of the factory speaker in the Fender Champ from what I've heard.

Installed this in a little Fender Frontman 15G practice amp. You can see a clear difference in the size of the speaker/magnet from the stock speaker. This resulted in a clear difference in the quality of the sound coming from the amp. It's a fuller, warmer sound now making this a pretty decent little amp. Distortion is crunchier, not as harsh and tinny as before. This was definitely worth it to make this little practice amp something worth playing through.

I was so excited when I received my Celestion speaker. Opening my Orange PPC108 cabinet was a little tricky, and the hardest part of the swapping process. Removing the old speaker and installing the new one was supereasy. The look of the original speaker (voice of the people) was similar to my surprise, but the weight of celestion one and the size of the magnet was significantly higger on the Eight 15.Soundwise, the celestion speaker is cleaner (when playing clean), with stronger bass and in general sounds better. I have also played with distortion, and it also sounds superb.I strongly recommend this upgrade to anyone with a orange 8inch cabinet, or in general anyone with a 8inch speaker amp.

I was expecting a slight improvement in sound however the speaker blew me away. I didn’t realize that a $45 speaker could make this much of a difference but right away I noticed deeper bass, punchy mids and crisp clear highs. This speaker is worth every penny. I use a peavey 6505plus most of the time but for fun I replaced the stock speaker in my Marshall mg15 for late night practice. I use the pre sets for classic and a metal zone pedal for my heavier stuff and this speaker sounded great for both. Very versatile. Easy to install. I would highly recommend this to anyone for a huge upgrade to any practice amp

I wanted a small practice amp with a similar sound to my EVH 50w 1x12 5150, so i used this speaker in a little custom built 8" cab running a Hotone Vulcan Five-O 5w amp, and it sounds far better than i was expecting, and is able to give the great crisp sounding highs and mids that I love about my EVH, but still has a decent amount of low end, and is plenty loud enough to use at home.

I found an old Fender Bullet Reverb, while cleaning out some stuff, that was in great shape. I had bought it, maybe 30-40 years ago??I have quite a few amps, from two 100-watt Marshall stacks running in stereo, to Vox, Orange & Fenders.I’ve been buying guitars since the 70’s (read “old guy”). I found this amp tucked away in with a bunch of guitar cases in our indoor storage facility.I had just re tubed a Vox and put a celestion 10 gold in it. (which was around $200 for the speaker).... This was $30 ish. It takes only a few minutes to swap the speaker out with just one Phillips screwdriver. The stock Fender speaker is very light and blah. I currently play Suhr guitars which are quite chimey. The Celestian made the tiny amp actually have range. It’s a sealed amp with two ports. Now, it’s still a little solid state amp but it’s actually useful. Cleaned it up with Armor-all and it looks like new! Not sure what I’ll use it for, but for $30- amazing !!! 😁
