I got this fan because my wife likes to sleep with a fan. She had one of these cheap walmart fans before. Let me tell you. This puppy's got 5 speeds. I have NEVER used it on anything above setting 1 (lowest) except in the garage. On the highest setting, it reminds me of the 2000$ shop fan my buddy has in his BMW shop. The amount of air this thing moves is absolutely ridiculous. The first time I turned it on it was facing the bed in the same position as the old one. My wife was in bed. I crank the dial to 5. The sheets and all her work on the bed are instantly everywhere in the room except on the bed. Honestly, I wish it had a lower setting than 1 but if you want that you can just buy the smaller version of this product! I wish I'd bought the smaller one but man, in the Florida heat in my garage this thing is a godsend.

this is a great fan. Very powerful gets the job done. This is the first fan I've ever owned like this so I'm not sure if it's louder than other fans or not but I will say it is loud. If I had one complaint about it it's at the electric cord is too short. I believe it's a 6 foot cord which means you either need an extension cord for most things or you have to be really close to an outlet. A 10 foot cord would've been really nice

I love this fan. Love my 24” Caterpillar same model and I am sure I will love my 14” pedestal fan. One of each. They are just solid and I love the look and I love how well they work. They really push the air and summer is ending, but I will have them for next Summer. I think you can position them around the house to really move air through the whole house. In another review, I had a Dewalt and it was 24 inches and I swear the wind that was coming out was barely coming out even on high it made so much noise and nothing came out. These fans will come out definitely I don’t know the volume, but you will feel it come out big time. Just a solid well-made, outstanding piece of equipment. Really impressed with it. The only one I didn’t buy was the 9 inch one because the other three I have will work fine. Worth every penny. Best fan ever. Maybe a downside would be they’re not very soft looking… But you want something strong that will last. These will.

Nice fan just wish CAT would have inspected the fan before they shipped it because it had a large curl in the metal on the rear left side like it got backed into with a forklift, nice going CAT, not worth the price we paid for this fan that came damaged. Get some better quality control personnel CAT !!

What did I dislike? I hate the fact that porch pirates exists because my first order was stolen.What I liked about my CAT HVD-18AC - 18" High-velocity Drum Air Circulator Fan with 360-degree Pivoting Head and Dual Ball Bearing 4-speed Motor, Black and the Amazon Seller - Caterpillar Fans that personally delivered my fan. The fan is extremely powerful it has 4 speeds and really helps keep us cool 😎 and for the company extremely understanding worked with me to resolve the issue with my previous order thank again Caterpillar Fans, Robert, and his boss. You guys as a whole are awesome 👌 👏 👍
