I'm not happy I ordered this. Vine reviewers don't pay for the item, but they pay taxes on the estimated value as income, which in my case with federal and state is about 25% of the non-discounted price... and I can't send it back.I consider this a poorly-made fan which has no ability to tilt down... it just blows at one angle. There is no pivot. It says there is in the instructions, but once you build it - no fun - there isn't a working pivot point, so you pretty much need to be happy with the way it's pointing or oscillating. The construction is, compared with a real industrial fan, flimsy. The cage is thin and will rust quickly in any but an arid climate. The blade attachment is a single screw which I don't trust. Assembling it, with no actual useful instructions, is full of cuss-words.It does move some air. About as much as a less-costly plastic-bladed fan and nothing like the amount of my heavier-duty fans. It would cool you off on a hot day... if you were standing up, because it won't tilt down to point at you.The entire thing from the quality of the parts, to the difficulty of assembly to the flimsiness of construction, would earn this no better than 3 stars, and the lack of the ability to tilt up and down really should earn it just one star, but it does blow air. I also think the size of the screws included to hook it to your drywall are too light-gauge to seem safe, but that's in keeping with the whole aesthetic. I think I'd be scared to hang this on my wall. And I won't since it won't tilt down, and the only safe place for it would be high off the floor... If I end up tossing this in the trash without figuring somewhere to use it, I'll come back and lower this review to one star.I recommend you avoid this and go with a brand name... and like you're doing now, read the reviews.

This fan is ideal for cooling my 16 x 20-foot storage building/workshop. I spend a fair amount of time in the shop in the summer and it often gets hot and stuffy. I've set a box fan inside the shop in the past, but it doesn't move the amount of air this wall-mounted fan can move. I mounted the fan fairly high on the wall , and with the oscillation, the breeze can reach me no matter where I am in the shop. It's nice to get the direct wind, but the oscillation keeps the air moving in the shop, making it very comfortable. The fan was easy to mount, and having a helper to hold the fan on the wall when you mount, really helps. It's also easy to change the fan speed with the control being very convenient (as opposed to the switch being on top of the motor, which is typically what you see.) It's also surprisingly quiet, considering how much air it's moving. It's well-built, sturdy, and a nice addition to my shop. And for a wall fan, it looks nice, too!

There was no screw to secure fan to motor

The fan moves the air real well and mounting to the wall is pretty easy, just make sure to mount it to a stud for strength. This will be great for summertime to keep the air circulation going in the house and help move AC air throughout the area for better cooling.I like the fact that it isn't on the floor to be in the way ir get knocked over like the majority of fans out there for sale.

Added to a 3 season porch for a little air movement. For whatever reason, I didn't realize this had its own speed controller, so I can't use the installed wall fan controller as hoped. It really is a basic big box oscillating fan, just on a wall mount. Air flow is good and we tend to leave it on the lowest of the 3 settings for a gentle breeze, but I could see pushing that up during the summer.Material-wise, I was pretty disappointed. Most of the metal pieces are thin and flimsy, and the blades have unfinished edges to boot. The chunk of plastic that serves as the controller doesn't fit onto the mounting bracket, so just hangs on the cord. Even the manufacturer label is a paper sticker, not a plastic medallion. The fan will probably last fine, as do basic hardware store fans, but it sure doesn't feel like a quality appliance.

The fan is strong, quiet and oscillates. The motor looks small inside the housing but it's working well. You have to put it together but it's not hard to do. Just be careful not to bend the blades when you assemble it. They are metal.

I would not recommend this fan to anyone. The parts feel like cheap toy parts. The one screw you need to attach the front and back parts of the fan was not even in the box. The way that y5ou have to hang this fan up is so awkward that it seems impossible to get the fan to blow where you need it to blow. It did not come with any directions and it was just thrown in to the box for shipping with barely any bubble wrap. This is definitely not worth the price.

It seems a little cheap for an industrial fan. Has a plastic cover around the motor, but works.
