Worth every penny! I have a fused lower spine and even with a new saddle my butt and back were so sore after arena work. This cushion is perfect! It’s adjustable and so stable. My saddle is a slick seat so I wasn’t sure how a cushion would fit, it has greatly improved my comfort. It’s also improved my riding! I’ve been able to post comfortably at the trot and am no longer sore after a couple hours of trotting. This is probably the cheapest horse related purchase I’ve ever made and well worth it!It definitely doesn’t feel hard on my butt like some reviewers mentioned and doesn’t feel like I’m coming out of my saddle/seat. It has the added bonus of helping me get a better stirrup length, I fall between stirrup holes and adding the cushion was easier than punching new holes and risking offset stirrups.

This tush cush works like it's supposed to! I haven't taken it on long rides yet but the short trail rides are a lot more tolerable. Didn't wiggle around when my horse spooked and the elastics holding up pretty good. I've only ridden in it 3 times- if I remember I'll re-review after 6 months. Overall happy with my purchase 👍

A decent pad. I hard ride every day on the southwest border. I’m getting older and aches of all day or night in the saddle is starting to become uncomfortable. This offers just enough cushion without sliding or causing bouncing in the saddle (I have a rough out seat). It is starting to show a little wear, but I’m pleased with it. When is worn out, I’ll purchase another.

I trail ride 15-20 or more miles in one ride, a lot of transitions and this pad has made a big difference in my comfort. I have a pretty inexpensive synthetic trail saddle which I love and get a lot out of but the seat has 0 padding, this pad is so easy to put on and stays put the entire time and provides just the amount of cushion I need. I have a 15" seat and it works great. Highly recommend and the price is just right.

Foam is extremely firm and was actually pushing into the insides of my legs while riding to the point I got bruises. Definitely disappointed! The only good thing is that it does cover the whole seat and helped with not getting as much back pain but made my legs really hurt.

I bought two of these prior to a long trail ride that I was doing with my daughter this summer. We spent 11 hours total riding with a 6 hour stretch of uninterrupted riding at one point and these saved our butts! We rode over the Continental divide so there was a lot of rocky climbs and descents which weren't always smooth. I think the jarring would have been killer without them. There was no issue with feeling like they were hot. It also rained and they were exposed to the rain. I was worried they would get soggy but they didn't hold onto the water. I gave it a little shake and it was fine. The outer covering is soft and of good quality. They were easy to put on and for the most part stayed in place. My daughter's was shifting a bit to the back but once I readjusted the strap around the horn it was fine. I would recommend these to anyone who is going to be spending a day in the saddle!

I've been riding hard saddles for 45 years and finally purchased a Cashel foam tush cushion. I was concerned it would move around, and it seems to stay put pretty well. It does add some cushion comfort. One review I read on another site said this item did not heat up, but I noticed I definitely sweat more on the warmer days (a negative). On the cooler riding days in Minnesota, the extra warmth was a plus.
